Not A Player(8)
Author: R.C. Stephens

“I’ll call,” Cait says. She opens the app and presses some buttons. “There’s a car one minute away.”

We wait for the car to arrive and then Noah gets in the front seat. I get in followed by Lili and then Cait.

“Sorry I wasn’t so friendly the first day we met,” Lili says, looking at Cait.

“No worries,” Cait replies. “Did Logan piss you off?” Cait waits expectantly grinning, and I find it hysterical that these girls are having this conversation in front of me. I laugh and shake my head.

“Honestly, no,” Lili snickers. She looks at me briefly then back at Cait. “I don’t have an excuse. I thought he was hot and figured, better not get involved.” Her words and openness shock me, but then I think of my housemates back home. When they are drunk all their truths come flying out of their mouths. I’m pretty sure that’s what’s happening here.

“You think I’m hot?” I ask her, because I clearly am not thinking straight. She was clearly all over me in the club.

Lili grins mischievously. I want to kiss the hell out of her all over again. But then she rests her head on my shoulder and yawns. “It’s been a long while since I’ve allowed myself this level of fun.”

“Tell me about it,” Noah answers her.

“Noah, don’t tell Lili anything personal about us. She doesn’t want to exchange any personal details,” I suddenly tell him. What the hell am I doing? I don’t even feel like myself.

Noah turns and gives me a sly look. Like I just told him I’m hooking up with this girl and we aren’t exchanging info.

Cait grins and Lili watches me with a warm smile because it seems like she appreciated my gesture.

The Uber pulls up to the hotel and I panic. What if she wants to have sex? I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. I don’t even have a condom on me.

Cait and Noah get out and tell us to have a good night.

“Noah, wait,” I scream out after him like a lunatic.

He pauses and watches me waiting as he sways to the side. “Sorry I need to talk to you a minute,” I mutter and stumble toward him.

Cait raises her brows curiously then she looks at Lili as if she has the answer to my odd behavior, and Lili just shrugs.

I take Noah by his shirt and pull him aside and around a large pillar outside the hotel that leads to one of the many gardens on the property.

“What’s up?” He tilts his head up.

“Please do not repeat this to anyone.” I point a finger in his face and he tries to catch it like he’s playing a game and misses it.

“Okaayyyy.”

“I’m a virgin. I think Lili wants to have sex,” I blurt because clearly all my inhibitions have flown out the window with all those shots I had.

“You’re fucking joking,” he scoffs, but when he takes in my serious expression his laugh dies quickly. “You’re serious.”

I nod.

“Just stick your dick inside her,” he instructs.

“That’s horrible advice. What about foreplay?”

“Kiss, lick some pussy, and get on in there.” He winks, patting my shoulder.

“Fuck.”

“You’ll figure it out.” He walks back over to Cait.

Fucker better not tell anyone about this.

I walk back over to Lili. Am I walking straight? Or am I zigzagging?

“I should walk you to your room since you’re on the same floor as me,” I suggest, realizing I so don’t have game.

She yawns.

“Sure.”

I don’t know where this night is heading, but a part of me wants to get to know her better before things heat up.

Liliana

We enter the elevator, and he moves to the opposite wall. “Why are you so far away?” I ask, grinning. I don’t know who I am right now but for the first time in almost a year, I’m feeling good.

“Sorry,” he says, closing the space between us. I lift my hand and thread my fingers through the strands of his hair. His hair is long enough for my fingers to run through it and feel the softness against my skin. His mouth dips to mine and he peppers kisses along my lips. My body is overheated and needy as the kiss deepens and he pins me to the wall. Holy hell! His hard length presses into my belly. He’s big. The thought causes a clench between my thighs, reminding me I’m not as broken as I thought. Feeling horny and wanted is something I haven’t felt in a long while.

The elevator dings on our floor and we break apart, breathing hard.

Logan adjusts his crotch. “I’ll walk you to your door,” he offers. A part of me is a little disappointed I don’t get an invitation to his hotel room, although I don’t know if I would have taken him up on the offer anyway. Logan is sweet and hot as hell. He’s good for my broken ego, and the fact he’s being a gentleman right now and not taking advantage of my inebriated state says something about him.

“Thanks,” I reply, and he takes my hand and leads me to the door.

I pull my room key card out of the little pouch I have attached across my shoulder.

“I had fun,” he says, smiling lazily. He looks a little sweaty and tired but the guy is gorgeous, so tired and disheveled looks hot on him.

“Me too,” I sigh and grin, my body still feeling pumped from all the dancing, drinking, and kissing we’ve been doing. When Alessa left me at the club, I hoped for some dancing, maybe getting a little tipsy and letting loose. I didn’t plan on the spark we clearly ignited.

“Spend the day with me tomorrow,” he suggests, and his electric gaze zeroes in on me.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” I reply, holding my breath. As much fun as I had, I don’t think I can handle more than what we did right now.

“I didn’t say we have to exchange personal info. Let’s just have fun.” His teeth dig into his lower lip. My eyes pull to his full lips. He tastes good and his kisses are sinful. Again, I feel a clench between my thighs. It’s been a long while since I’ve had sex. Since I’ve allowed myself to feel any kind of ecstasy, and here this handsome stranger has me in a tangle of emotions.

“I’m here with my sister, I can’t leave her and spend the day with you.”

“So, I’ll come get you early. I want to hike up Diamond Head,” he says.

“You want to climb a mountain after a night of drinking?” I ask him. He looks very fit, but please.

“Okay, then meet me for breakfast and some surfing,” he offers. Something tells me he doesn’t want to take no for an answer.

“You’re persistent.” I smile.

“You’re beautiful,” he retorts, tucking a piece of stray hair behind my ear.

His words melt something inside me. I know I’m not bad looking, but my ex did a number on me. “Don’t wake me up before nine,” I warn and shake my head. I don’t know why, but I can’t say no to this guy. He’s sincere, open, and polite as hell. A potent mix in a handsome man. I’m not immune to his charms.

“I can do that.” He sways a little, and I remember my brain is infused with alcohol too. He leans forward and pecks my lips. “Sleep well, sweet Lili.” He winks and I slide my key card in the door. He waits until I walk into the hotel room. He walks away and if I’m not mistaken, I hear him whistling.
