“And I trust that this will stay between us,” I said. “I don’t want the surprise to be ruined.”

“You have my word,” she said.

“Thank you. Have a nice day.”

“Thank you. You have a pleasant day too,” she replied.

“So, what’s the next step?” I asked Sybil.

She grinned. “We have to go shopping to get some costumes.”

“This isn’t Halloween,” I said, laughing.

“Get up,” she said. “We’ll figure something out on the way.”

Sybil and I went shopping. It was more like she dragged me from shop to shop. She also came up with the idea that we should go to the country club as a couple.

I purchased a long, layered gray-colored wig while she bought oversize black pants, a long black coat, and also a big ten-inch dildo. I wasn’t even going to ask why. I just shook my head.

The things that girl does!

So, we ended up going to the villa as a couple—me as a pregnant, middle-aged woman while Sybil was dressed as a man.

She kept grabbing the front of her pants like she was afraid she would lose her cock as she walked while supporting my back with a hand. I tried my best to waddle like a pregnant woman while my loving “husband” rubbed my back. She also wore a mustache and a bowler hat on her head. I thought our disguises would draw attention, but no one paid any attention to us.

The Coles’ Country Club Villa was nestled in a serene country setting. There were so many outdoor activities to do in the spacious landscape. It also had fourteen suites and five apartments.

We checked into one of the suites and decided to go look for Lisa and the others. We found them sitting in the dining area in the bar. I had my back to their table, but we sat close to them, so we could eavesdrop on their conversation. They talked mostly about the weather and the activities they’d planned for the next couple of days. I knew Lisa and Anthony wouldn’t say anything that would incriminate them in front of the others.

I tried not to giggle when the dildo between Sybil’s legs poked her thighs. She groaned and quickly adjusted it.

“Nicholas and I are going to play golf,” I heard my father speak. “Does anyone want to join us?”

“I haven’t played golf in a long time,” Hector replied.

Then, he looked at Lisa, but she waved her hand.

“I’ll let you gentlemen play golf and catch up,” she replied.

I was thrilled when Anthony also declined the offer. I lowered my head as my dad and the others left. As soon as they left, Lisa and Anthony went to the bar and ordered some drinks. Sybil and I moved closer to the bar, sitting at a corner.

Lisa placed a hand on Anthony’s thigh as she took a sip of her drink. “Anthony, thank you for everything you’ve done for me,” she said.

He grinned at her. “What are friends for?”

Her forehead creased into a frown. “I can’t believe the nerve of that girl!”

“Amber?” Anthony asked.

“Why, yes!” Lisa cried. “She made so many drastic changes to the prenup. What would I do without you? I wouldn’t have known on time if you hadn’t shown it to me. I’m glad you corrected the changes she’d made.”

“That snake,” Sybil said with anger under her breath.

“Nicholas trusts me, and he also trusts my judgment,” Anthony replied. “He’ll approve it as soon as he’s settled in here.”

I worriedly looked at Sybil.

Hector still didn’t suspect anything, so he’d sign the prenup after Nicholas approved it. He could get into a lot of trouble when Hector realized that he had been swindled. Lisa would get all his wealth while all the blame would go to Nicholas.

They continued to talk, but I was too upset to listen to them. I wanted to march over there and grab her by the neck.

Suddenly, everything made sense to me. If he was out of the picture, Anthony would take his place. All of Nicholas’s clients would become Anthony’s.

And who knew what else he could do next?

Hector wasn’t a man you should cross; he would surely take his pound of flesh. Once that prenup was signed by both parties, it would be too late to do anything to help either Nicholas or Hector.

“What do I do now?” I whined loudly.

“Calm down,” Sybil whispered. “You’ll blow our cover. Lisa’s looking this way.”

I lowered my head, rubbing a hand on my fake baby bump. I sighed inwardly when Lisa’s gaze shifted to Anthony.

“Did you bring it with you?” Lisa asked.

“Yes, it’s in my room,” Anthony replied. “It’s ready. You and Hector can sign it as soon as Nicholas approves it.”

“Take a walk with me,” Lisa said, giving him a charming smile.

Lisa and Anthony walked out of the bar. Sybil and I exchanged glances.

“Come on, girlfriend,” I said. “We have some work to do.”

“Yes, boss lady.”

Twenty-One

Amber

There was no way I would allow Anthony and Lisa to ruin Nicholas’s firm. It would break him. He had worked so hard to build the firm to what it was now. If I could lay my hands on the prenup, I would be able to prove to Nicholas that he was surrounded by snakes. Nicholas trusted Anthony and Lisa; he wouldn’t believe me if he didn’t see the prenup and read it.

I explained my plan to Sybil. I would break into Anthony’s room, take the prenup, and show it to Nicholas. That was the only way to prove that Lisa was a scheming lowlife.

Anthony was staying in one of the suites. Fortunately, I had access to the master keys. Sybil and I walked into the hallway. Anthony’s room was at the end of the hall. I was about to slip the key out of my purse when a housekeeping staff member walked into the hall. I winked at Sybil, signaling to her to distract the lady. Sybil sauntered over to her. The lady’s eyes sparkled with delight as she noticed the bulge in Sybil’s pants.

“Hey, beautiful lady,” Sybil said in a deep, masculine voice. “Do you work here?”

“Yes, sir,” she replied.

“Wow, your beauty must have blinded me because I haven’t seen you here before.”

The lady blushed. “Oh.”

I slipped out the master key and opened Anthony’s door. I walked into the room and gently closed the door, locking it with the key. I frantically looked around, wondering where he kept the prenup. I saw an overnight bag by the bedside. I opened it and searched through it. But the prenup wasn’t there. My heart skipped a beat when I heard footsteps outside the door.

Shit.

I didn’t know what to do or where to hide. It would be a disaster if Anthony found me searching through his things. I thought about hiding in the walk-in closet, but that would be too much of a risk. I dashed into the bathroom just before the door opened. I hid behind the shower curtain, praying that he wouldn’t come into the bathroom.

Anthony walked into the room, whistling. He seemed so happy.

I tiptoed out of the bathtub and peered through the door. He was walking around the room as he changed out of his clothes.

“Oh, my sweet Lisa,” he said to himself. “Finally, we are going to be together forever.” He opened the wardrobe and reached for his swimming shorts. It seemed he was about to go to the pool. “Together forever, Lisa and Anthony.”
