Desk Banger(15)
Author: K.S. Rochell

Seriously, he must have some kind of blinders on when it came to her.

“She wants to take all of his properties. It says here that in the event of the death of one of the spouses, the surviving spouse is entitled to the deceased’s estate.”

“Well, that’s how it works,” Nicholas said abruptly. “If you still have worries about the prenup, you should give it to Anthony. He’ll look over it.”

I’d thought he would be concerned that Lisa was trying to swindle Hector by marrying him. Instead, it seemed he only had Lisa’s interests at heart. I was upset that she had found a way to make him have faith in her again.

Why was she crying in his arms? And why was he comforting her?

Lisa was sly. Nicholas’s sudden change of attitude toward Lisa also convinced me that she had something up her sleeves.

I was tired; there were circles under my eyes because I’d had to stay up all night to work on the prenup. Although I’d covered the dark circles under my eyes with makeup, I didn’t have any strength left in me.

I clenched my jaw when I suddenly felt like yawning. Nicholas must have noticed it, too, because he shook his head at me.

“You’ve been working so hard. Why don’t you take the day off? Try to get some rest, too, because we are going on a date tonight.”

My insides quivered with anticipation. “We are?”

He leaned over, brushing his lips across mine. “Yes, we are.”

“All right. I’ll take the day off, only if you promise dessert will come with dinner.”

He gave me a little wink. “You are my dessert, Amber.” Nicholas smiled. “One more thing. I will have a dress delivered to your apartment for the date.”

I stood on the tip of my toes and kissed him fully on the lips. “Thanks.”

Nicholas flashed me another smile before he went back into his office. I was too excited to care about Lisa and her gimmicks. I whistled happily as I headed toward Anthony’s office. I left the prenup with him and went back home with contentment in my heart.

Nicholas

Amber came out of her apartment, looking breathtakingly in the dress I’d picked for her. It was a long white dress that looked flawless with her beautiful golden tone. It had a criss crossed back and spaghetti straps and deliciously molded to her curves, enhancing her bust. She shyly smiled at me, reaching out for my hand. I slid my hand into hers and kissed the back of her hand.

“You look so beautiful.”

“Thank you. You look good too.”

I led her to my car and opened the passenger door for her. When she settled in, I closed the door. Then, I got into the car and drove to the harbor. She still didn’t know where we were going or what I had planned for us. We made small talk during the drive. She was surprised when the harbor came into view.

“What are we doing here? I thought we were going to a restaurant.”

“I planned something better for tonight.”

“Oh, Nicholas,” she mumbled.

I helped her out of the car, and we walked across the pier. The night air was cool. She looked angelic as the breeze lifted the hem of her dress. My heart fluttered whenever I looked at her. She squeezed my hand when she saw my yacht on the water. Brighton’s Swan had been built to have elegance and superior ship details. Her white-and-dark-blue structure made her look gorgeous. The inside had also been designed to have poise. The interior of the yacht was a fine blend of white and gold. The deck was airy and spacious, yet it had also been built to provide privacy and comfort. The underwater lighting accentuated her beauty.

“She’s so elegant, Nicholas.”

“Yes, she is,” I said, looking directly into her eyes.

“It’s yours?”

“Yes,” I replied. “We’re taking her for a ride.”

We walked onto the deck, feeling the cool air on our faces.

Amber’s lips curved into a crooked smile. “Do you often take her out to sea?”

“No,” I said. “Sadly, there’s no time for that.”

“It’s so calm and serene here.” She sighed.

A waiter walked over to us with a tray of champagne. We made a toast, and I gave her a tour of the ship. Then, we walked back to the deck. The warm, fresh, aromatic sea air soothed us. Her eyes took in the sight of the magnificent landscape. She reached for my hand, pointing at the twinkling stars in the sky. I wrapped my arms around her, listening to the gentle sound of the waves. This moment felt so magical. I felt like Cupid had struck me with his arrow over and over again. Every time I was with Amber, she took my breath away.

“Come, let’s have dinner.”

She squeezed my hand again as we walked into a cozy, private dining area. Warm candlelight glowed around us, and a piece of soft, serene music filled the air.

“This is so breathtaking … so perfect,” Amber said with awe in her voice and a smile on her face.

“You are so perfect.” I kissed her cheek.

I pulled out her chair and waited for her to sit. A waiter brought our dinner along with a bucket of iced champagne. We talked while eating dinner. I’d kept her in the dark about a lot of things, especially about my relationship with Lisa. But it was time to be open and honest with her.

“Amber … about Lisa …”

“It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it.”

“No, I want you to know there’s nothing going on between us. She was crying in my arms earlier today because it was the anniversary of her parents’ deaths. I know she’s difficult, but she is overwhelmed with everything that has happened to her. She only came to me because she knew I’d listen and comfort her.”

Amber sighed. “Do you still have feelings for her?”

“No, I don’t have any feelings for her. I only care about her because she has no friends or family.”

Amber still looked skeptical because she didn’t believe me. She walked over to the deck, leaning over it. I followed her and pulled her into my arms.

“It’s you I want. My heart beats for you, Amber.”

I kissed her on the lips just to reassure her that it was over between Lisa and me. She pressed her lips against mine. I kissed her so gently until she parted her lips. My tongue stroked the inside of her mouth. The sweet flavor of the champagne was on her breath. She leaned against my chest, rubbing her cheek against mine. I tilted her neck backward, dropping soft kisses on her throat. I kissed between her breasts. She moaned as I lifted the hem of her dress, running a finger along the inside of her thighs. The stars twinkled above us in the sky as our passion ignited. The ship continued to glide gently along the water while our passion overwhelmed us. I lowered her onto a chaise on the deck and lifted her dress. I pulled her white lace panties down her legs, sliding a finger between her moist pussy lips.

“Wow …” Amber moaned.

I stroked her engorged clit with my tongue while she writhed with pleasure. I kissed the inside of her thighs, tenderly nibbling. She widened her legs for me.

“My sweet Amber.”

“More,” she cried.

My cock strained against my pants as I felt the blood rush through it. I unzipped my pants and pulled my shirt off. She stroked my back as I positioned myself between her thighs. We both moaned when the tip of my cock entered her warmth. Amber placed her palms on the sides of my face. She kissed my lips softly. I entered her with a swift, hard thrust. She cried out again, slipping her tongue into my mouth. I felt a stirring inside my heart as tears filled her pretty eyes. It took all my willpower not to thrust into her until I had my release. I wanted her to enjoy every second of this moment.
