Maid For You

Chapter One

“A new virus has devastated the people of Wuhan China. Now under mandatory lockdown, as thousands are infected with the infamous Coronavirus. The president has sent troops in to bring all Americans back to the states safely.”

“What precautions is the president taking to make sure the American people are safe? Find out tonight on this edition of ‘Happening Now.’”

The TV clicked off as Octavia stepped into the room. “Sorry about that,” said Johnny, the boss for Mad Man Maid Services. He stood from behind his overly large wooden desk in the back of the darkened office and walked to where Octavia waited.

“Please, come in,” he said and guided her over to where his desk sat. “Have a seat.”

Octavia did as he asked, sitting down before him.

“Octavia, great news, I was able to place you in a home.”

The woman had been staying in a hotel room for the past two months since starting at the agency. In exchange for lesser wages, Octavia agreed to the company paying for her housing. Now that she was placed with a home, the company would still pay her less while no longer having to pay her rent.

“Wh-who will I be working for?” Octavia said in a low voice that sounded nothing like herself. Johnny was not a nice man, and Octavia found herself terrified anytime he was around. She felt even more intimidated since they were the only ones in the office.

He smirked at her, his eyes combed up and down her slim figure. “Ever hear the name Jay Firefly?”

Octavia had not, but she said, “yes,” anyways, knowing that Johnny would inform her. After all, he barely heard a thing that came out of the woman’s mouth.

“Ms. Firefly is a personal friend of mine. She’s a rockstar, best known for her chart-topping hits in the early 2000s. She made platinum back in 2005 for Jagged Girl, Top Tier Lady, and Firefly, to name a few.”

Octavia nodded, pretending that she was aware of all this information, yet knew none of it. As an immigrant who fought hard to get to America, she did not have time growing up to listen and pay attention to what top songs rockstars came out with. Plus, she never listened to that genre of music.

“Anyways, Firefly is a particular woman who has a--certain--taste…” His eyes peered down to Octavia’s breasts and did not try to hide the fact that he was looking as he said, “in the women she allows to clean her home.” His eyes finally looked up to see that Octavia’s gaze had dropped to her hands. “I believe you will fit her taste well enough. There are rules when working for Firefly, however. Her assistant will send over a detailed list of regulations, but I must highlight the fine print and have you sign an NDA.”

He slid over a massive packet of paper but flipped through it to the back page that had been highlighted where he needed her signature. “Initial and sign,” Johnny said without explanation.

“This is the NDA, meaning you are not allowed to say anything about working with Firefly. If you were to say something, this little paper wouldn’t even matter because I’d make sure you were thrown somewhere no one could find the body.”

Cold consumed Octavia, hearing Johnny say that. It wasn’t the first time he had threatened her life, but she knew from his reputation that he would not think twice to end her. After all, no one would know. She wasn’t legal. No one would care, she had no family. All things Johnny knew and looked for in an employee.

“Do you understand?” Octavia nodded, which was enough for him to continue. “You will be living in the downstairs maid quarters. You are expected to act as the live-in maid but will most likely have to interact with Firefly every other week. As I said, she has particular taste and expects her maids to follow through with her demands.

“You should also know, going into this that Firefly does not want to be talked to unless she speaks with you first. If you have a question, then you must ask her assistant. While Firefly will expect for you to be present for her bi-weekly servant meetings, she will not want to hear from you.

“And most importantly, it is imperative that you remember Firefly is a rockstar. She throws parties, a lot of parties. She has orgies, raggers, massive high-profile get-togethers that you will have to clean up after without complaint.”

Octavia nodded but feared what she’d have to do for her new employer. To this Firefly person, Octavia was just another low-class maid. But to Octavia, Firefly was her lifeline in a country she did not know.

Chapter Two

“What do you mean, you’re canceling my shows?” Jay Firefly paced around her massive bedroom, AirPods in her ears, as she swung her golf club in the air.

Movement and moaning caused focus to falter from her manager to the bed. Tina and Ty stirred in their sleep, coming-to upon the sound of Jay’s irate tone.

“This virus is making travel hard. The label is behind the decision. It’s not safe to go to Asia right now.”

Jay huffed and took a swing at one of the empty beer bottles left forgotten along with clothing, drugs, empty take-out bags, and dental dams. All proof of a great night. The bottle crumbled under the steel of her iron. Strands of sharp glass went flying through the air along with what was left of the beer.

The models in Jay’s bed barely moved, instead choosing to bury their heads deeper into the blankets.

“Damn it, Oliver,” Jay hissed as anger built in her veins. “Does this mean I won’t be getting loot for these shows?”

“Well--”

“Because I signed a fucking contract. I don’t give a shit if the label loses money over this, but for fuck sakes!”

Jay’s anger was reaching new heights. She was counting on the money from her two-week tour. Even though she had more than enough in the bank to sustain her life, the star’s spending had been out of control for years. Throwing parties almost every weekend, drugs, an array of girlfriends, and her many business ventures took up most of her funds. Not to mention the necessities. Jay’s multi-million-dollar mortgage was not going to pay itself.

“Listen--”

“Oliver… I better not lose a fucking dime. If I do, I will be taking the loot out of your fucking salary! Do you hear me?”

Oliver held back his tongue as he said, “Yes,” and hung up the call with his client.

Wet substance dripped down Jay’s temple. A finger touched the liquid, causing her to wince. Annoyed beyond belief, Jay did not realize that a strand of glass landed along her right eyebrow.

“Babe?” Tina asked from the bed, rubbing her tired eyes caused the red silk sheets to pool around her midsection. Fake double-D breasts barely registered the movement of her arm.

Yet another thing I need to fix.

Since Tina went from a B cup to a DD cup, the implants did not take-right and left her top half stiffer than they should have been.

“What?” Jay asked as she moved through the spacious master suite, in search of a top in one of the piles of clothes in her closet.

Her closet wasn’t usually this messy and unorganized. The previous night, Jay and her girlfriends got drunk and decided to model all her clothing.

Finding a long Pink Floyd t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, Jay moved back into the bedroom to see Tina still looking at her with worry-filled eyes. Now Ty was awake and sitting up with a face that looked drowsy and unsure of her location.
