One Lucky Bride(8)
Author: Krista Wolf

“You’re lucky, Addison.”

My oldest sister Cora had sworn the words more than said them. There was an underlying jealousy there that I’d dismissed with an overly-sweet smile.

“Always was.”

Yeah… we definitely weren’t the closest of families.

My smile had lasted all the way through the gates of the beautiful Botanical Gardens, where my mother had cashed in a favor with one of her many girlfriends to score the venue. I was about to get married in the middle of a lush green field. Beneath a virgin-white pergola, surrounded by a hundred or so friends and family as well as thousands of colorful flowers.

And after what took place last night?

Well, lucky didn’t even begin to describe it.

“PSSSST!”

I was looking down at my shoes when I heard the sound. I glanced up into the mirror and there was Damon, standing behind me. He looked absolutely incredible in his tuxedo, all dark and flawless and handsome.

“What the heck are you doing!” I hissed.

He smiled that casual, charming smile. The one I’d fell in love with that very first day, manipulating his long, muscular leg on my examination table.

“What do you mean?”

“You can’t see me yet! It’s bad luck!”

My almost-husband laughed, stepping closer. His eyes hadn’t left my body. He looked almost star-struck.

“Do you really believe that stuff?”

“No,” I replied with a chuckle. “I mean… well, maybe.”

God, he was as perfect as a male model! All dressed up in his shirt and tie and cufflinks, he looked every bit the man I always imagined I’d marry.

“C’mere.”

I shivered as he slid his arms around me, the two of us staring into the mirror. We looked incredible together, as bride and groom. So good, I wished I had time to jump him, right then and there.

“You’re absolutely gorgeous,” he said, pressing his body against mine. His freshly-trimmed stubble grazed my bare shoulder for a second, before his lips took over. “The most beautiful bride ever.”

He kissed my neck, and my whole body melted into him as Damon’s hands took control of my waist. I felt possessed by the strongest, most perfect man in the world. Totally owned by him.

“Can’t we skip the wedding?” he murmured, one hand moving up to cradle my face. I spun around in his arms.

“Fine by me,” I giggled. “Might disappoint some people though.”

He kissed me, and all other thoughts flew straight out of my head. All the worries about preparation and timing and keeping to schedule — it all seemed suddenly so insignificant.

Damon’s hands slid all the way down my legs, then began carefully cinching up the hem of my dress. It slid up over my calves, my knees. When it passed my garter-covered thighs, I gasped.

“You’re damned lucky we don’t have time,” Damon murmured, still working on my dress. “Or I’d do you right here before the wedding.”

“Lucky, huh? Though you didn’t believe in that.”

His palms smoothed their way over my thong-covered ass, and the knot in my stomach tightened.

“Damon…” I was starting to get a little nervous.

“What?”

“We’re gonna get caught,” I breathed into his mouth.

“No we’re not,” he answered confidently, kissing me again. I melted some more as his tongue swirled into my mouth, sliding sexily alongside mine. Making everything right in my universe.

“Besides,” he winked. “Saxon’s watching the entrance for us.”

ADDISON

The words didn’t register right away. When they did, alarm flashed through me.

“What?”

I glanced back over my shoulder. Our best man stood half in, half out of the tent, a knowing grin plastered across his face. He raise one hand and waved.

“Oh my God!” I gasped. “You guys are so bad!”

My groom didn’t answer, and that’s because he was busy exploring my mostly-naked ass with his hand. I felt exposed but exhilarated. Embarrassed, but also strangely unabashed.

“God,” Damon swore. “This ass…”

He gave it a possessive squeeze, then turned my exposed rump in our best man’s direction. I should’ve balked. Should’ve pulled my dress back down with a gasp.

Instead, a heated thrill shot through me like nothing I’d ever felt in my life.

“Fuck,” Damon growled, in a low, throaty voice that reminded me sharply of last night. “Just look at these panties…”

“They were supposed to be a surprise,” I whispered into his ear.

I realized suddenly he wasn’t talking to me. He was talking to his friend.

“Come check this out.”

My heart skipped two beats as our best man glanced quickly outside of the tent, spun on his heel, and strode right over. He came up behind me, looking every bit as gorgeous as Damon did in his own black tux.

“Here. Feel this.”

Damon took Saxon by the wrist and placed his friend’s hand on the other side of my ass. As his fingers closed over me, I could feel my legs start to tremble.

“Wish you didn’t have to fly back to Vegas tonight,” Damon chuckled. “Don’t you?”

The implications of his words made me flush with heat. In the meantime, Saxon’s hand remained where it was for a few long seconds. When it moved, it glided its way slowly over my ass, giving me a whole ocean of shivers.

“Nothing sexier than a virgin bride,” he chuckled, glancing at me from one side.

“I think you both missed that particular boat,” I managed to laugh.

“Yeah. Too bad.”

Somewhere outside, music started up. Violins. A cello. It was practice music, but music nonetheless.

They’re coming back for you any second! my mind screamed. Miuria. Your sisters…

I could see it all happening in my mind’s eye. The tent flap, folding open. My maid of honor, walking in. Seeing this…

Damon’s face was still inches from mine, but now so was Saxon’s. We were looking at each other, seeing things for how they were last night. Remembering the closeness. Those feelings of camaraderie, intimacy…

“Her panties will look even better like this,” Damon practically whispered.

Grabbing the string of my thong between two fingers, he stretched it to one side. It fit perfectly over one globe of my ass. Exposing… everything.

“You guys are driving me crazy,” I breathed. “We can’t— I mean, we have to—”

A finger brushed me. No, two fingers — one belonging to each of them. They took turns dragging themselves through the valley of my thigh-gap, moving with aching yet deliberate slowness.

Touching, but not touching. Just barely, barely brushing…

Holy.

Fuck.

I gulped hard and suddenly their hands were gone. Damon snapped my panties back in place, then dropped my dress down with one deft movement. Saxon’s hands were on the outsides of my thighs, smoothing the wrinkles from the silk material. Causing my legs to shake even more, as he straightened everything back in place.
