Ride Me Sweetheart (Sweetheart, Colorado)(12)
Author: Jordan Marie

“Hey Finley, baby,” Weasel says with a shit-eating grin.

His chair scoots back a couple of inches as Cade kicks his leg. Since Cade has found his steel-toed boots, that has to hurt. You can’t tell it by Weasel though, he just laughs.

“That’s my old lady you’re talking to asshole, have respect.”

“Old lady?” I ask, my entire insides clenching in shock—and maybe a little excitement.

“I don’t see your mark on her or that she’s wearing your cut. Maybe she wants to see what a real man can do for her,” Weasel purrs.

I do my best not to laugh. Weasel is kind of hot. He’s a little older than Cade, he has brown hair with natural highlights of blonde that is purely from the sun. I know this because Weasel wouldn’t be caught dead in a salon. He’d never touch me though and I wouldn’t him. Hell, he helped raise me.

“Quit fucking with Keys,” Larry growls, kicking Weasel himself. Judging from the wince on Weasel’s face, it was a lot harder.

“Behave Uncle Weasel,” I laugh. “Now, do you two want to tell me what’s been going on?” I add, turning my attention to Cade and Larry.

“Uncle?” Cade asks, sounding disgusted.

“Finley stayed with me when she was younger. The club is her family,” Larry says, making light of the fact that he raised me. I give him a smile and walk over, kissing the top of his head, hugging him. He doesn’t like displays of affection in front of people, but I can’t resist it sometimes. He pats my arm awkwardly, and I try not to giggle.

“I still want to know why your lip is bleeding,” I tell him, and spare Cade a glance. “And why it looks like Cade’s jaw is swelling.”

“A small lesson in respect,” Larry says, looking over at Cade. Since Cade flips him off after he says that I figure whatever lesson Larry tried to deliver didn’t work. I also figure it’s about me, but I’ve been around Larry enough to know it won’t do any good to bitch about it. They’re not killing each other, so I decide to let it go. There’s not much more I can do. I go to move so I can sit down across from Larry when Cade reaches out and grabs my wrist.

“Wha—”

I don’t finish my sentence when I find myself propelled into Cade’s lap. I stretch my neck, turning my head so I can look at him. His body heat instantly invades my body, leaving me warm and more than a little turned on.

Damn it, what is it about him?

Cade brings his hand up, his thumb brushing gently against the corner of my mouth, kissing my lips gently. It’s just a firm press, and despite wanting more, it still makes me feel special.

He drapes his cut over my shoulders. I frown at him, but find myself sliding my arms through, letting the heavy leather settle on my body.

“Better,” he murmurs, and he kisses me again—with tongue—but still brief.

“You’re weird, Stud,” I sigh out, turning back around to find Larry and Weasel both staring at us. I squirm around on his lap to get comfortable, while ignoring Larry’s knowing glance.

“Quit moving around, Red, before you buy yourself a bigger problem,” Cade groans, near my ear.

“You’re the one that pulled me into your lap. I’d like to point out that I was going to a perfectly good chair.”

“I wanted you in my lap, but I didn’t get all I wanted of you this morning and if you don’t stop teasing my cock with that juicy ass of yours I’m going to forget your brother and Uncle Weasel are over there watching us,” he warns.

“Do you know how annoying it is that you keep describing my body in terms that make it sound like I’m fat?”

“Your body is perfect. Pretty fucking sure I proved to you last night how much I love it, but again, I can remind you now if you want,” Cade responds, and to prove his point, he puts his hands on my hips, pulling on my body hard, drawing my attention to his Godzilla Dick that is apparently ready for more playtime. I hear Larry and Weasel laughing despite the way blood seems to be rushing inside of me, echoing in my ears.

I go perfectly still—which makes my audience laugh harder.

“Seems like you finally got a man that can tame that wild spirit inside of you, Finn,” Larry says, still laughing.

“Fuck off,” I mutter, making all three men laugh. “I don’t need tamed and you’re just being stupid. Cade and I are just flirting with one another. That’s it. There’s absolutely nothing else going on.” I’m lying, but I figure every single person in here knows that flirting is code for having sex. I don’t need to spell that out.

“I don’t think flirting has shit to do with what we’ve been doing with one another, Red,” Cade says, mildly—a little too mildly.

Apparently I did need to spell it out to salve Cade’s ego.

“I didn’t feel it necessary to tell everyone that we were scratching each other’s itches while you’re in town, Stud, but if you insist.” I shrug. “Larry, Weasel, I’ve been cast under some kind of spell by Cade’s Godzilla dick and because of that we’re having wild, dirty, gritty sex like you see on Skin-o-Max late at night. Better, Cade?” I ask.

My brother and Weasel are laughing their asses off, but apparently Cade’s not happy. He looks decidedly unhappy. It’s very clear that I have pissed him off.

“Maybe you need some more of my Godzilla cock to prove what’s going on between us,” Cade rumbles, and yeah he’s definitely pissed off. There’s no question about that now.

“I said Godzilla dick—as in you’re being a dick.”

“Red,” he growls, saying nothing else. I sigh out, knowing he’s not going to let this drop.

“Okay fine, maybe we’re really good together.” Cade snorts—loudly. “But you’re leaving town and even if you weren’t, I am.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” My head snaps around when Larry enters into the conversation. Shit. This wasn’t exactly how I wanted Larry to know.

“I was going to tell you, Larry. I wanted to like it here, I really did…”

“What the hell is wrong with Sweetheart?” Larry growls.

“Nothing. It’s just not what I’m looking for,” I answer honestly. “If it wasn’t for you, I’d have left a lot sooner.”

“You could always come to Stillwater. Fuck, you could live in my house. I’m always at the club,” Larry says, but I’m already shaking my head no.

“I tried that before, remember? All those chicks trying to be my best friend because they wanted to be the prez’s old lady.”

“Finley—” Larry starts, but I shake my head.

“I can’t stay,” I tell him, and even I can hear the sadness in my voice. “This isn’t it, Larry.”

“What’s that mean?” Cade asks when Larry and I remain silent, just staring at one another.

“Finley has this idea that she’s just going to travel around until she finds somewhere that feels like home,” Larry rumbles, sounding disgusted.

“And that’s not Colorado, Larry. I’ve tried it a couple of times now.”

“Works for me. You can come to Kentucky with me. You’ll like it,” Cade says and for a second, I feel like I can’t breathe.
