Her Personal Demons (The Seven Sinners of Hell's Kingdom Book 1)(10)
Author: Ginna Moran

I don’t let her hand get within an inch of my junk and drop her on her ass. Laughing, I say, “Don’t tease me, broken soul. You touch my cock and I won’t want you to stop. Control yourself. We will have time for this later.”

Her face flushes and she tries to kick me, but her leg isn’t quite long enough to get close and personal with my throbbing shaft. I wish it was. Either she’ll kill my boner or bring me the fucking desperate release I need—I don’t fucking care which one. I want her body pressing against mine. Lucian enjoyed their soul bonding far more than I’d have liked. He doesn’t hold the only key to our kingdom, and it’s time mortals realize that just because he made the biggest scene doesn’t mean my jump from grace didn’t create its own level of Hell.

“You went too far, Lucian,” Kase snaps, fisting his hands.

His true body fissures his skin, peeking through. The red devil is far more impressive than Lucian, and I can’t wait to see the pretty soul’s face when she gets the chance to confront him. She’ll piss her pants...unless she realizes all the fun she can have with him and me. I don’t mind working her up to it.

“Now look at her. She’s a fucking mess. What did you tell her? You know we must be careful with revelations in her state of uncertainty,” Kase adds, touching the pretty soul’s tear-stained cheek.

Like Lucian and I, Kase also fought and abandoned the Higher Power set on controlling us while all its playthings ruined a world that could’ve been ours. It still can as long as Lucian didn’t do what Kase accused and break the mind of the pretty damaged soul. Mortals are fragile—pathetic even—but this one is different. She’s who we’ve been waiting all our eternities for to come along. She might be a savior’s biggest mistake, but she’s perfect for what we have planned.

“Do not question my judgment!” Lucian yells, dragging me from my thoughts of the power I hunger for. He rubs his hands over his horns like he savors the memory of the broken soul touching him in fascination instead of fear. “I had to be certain she was the one we want. You know it takes a special kind of angel-kissed soul to do what we need.”

“And?” I ask, anticipation coursing through me.

I already know the answer. I glimpsed it for myself even without familiarizing myself the way I crave, especially now. The pretty soul might be broken and damaged from this particular life, but she’s strong. Her light comes from a powerful savior—stolen like she would have stolen his wings.

Fire lights his obsidian eyes. “What do you think?”

Fucking Lucian. He takes his current hellish state for granted. The circle gives him more power and is why he doesn’t come to this realm completely because he is the current anchor and power source in Hell. He can’t leave because of this, but he only bitches about it—fuck, all the time. But he wanted the infamy. Kase and I, on the other hand, prefer to be a bit more inconspicuous and a lot more involved in flesh bag affairs.

Lucian doesn’t take his eyes off the mortal as she crawls away from us, the little firecracker lit by the flames of Hell, turning her more into an explosive on the verge of destroying the world. “Raven is perf—”

“God? Angels? Hello?” the broken soul asks, raising her voice through the room. She slaps her palms together and looks toward the ceiling in the most ridiculous sight. Praying in a room full of devils is like brushing your teeth while eating a stack of Oreos. It isn’t going to do shit. “I know you can hear me! Help me! I don’t—”

Kase tips his head back and laughs. I haven’t seen him so amused in a long time. He usually wears a glower and cusses out the world every second of every day. But this soul, Raven, she does something to his wrathful ass. “No one can hear you, angel-girl. You’ve got Lucian’s darkness all over you from that little soul bonding you looked like you enjoyed. Have you ever experienced a spiritual orgasm before? It’s quite the out-of-body experience. You would cream at the thought if you knew. Why’d you stop?”

She glares and scrunches her nose. “Because I’m not giving my soul to the devil to get revenge for the shit Joel pulled. That’s the worst offer anyone has ever made me. He’s not fucking worth it, especially if I’ll end up wherever the hell he does. God, I’m not stupid.”

Fucking Lucian. He will always go for the shittiest deals first, testing just how much work it will take to break and mold a mortal into the perfect energy source for our kingdom. But this soul is different, and we all know it. Broken yet pure—bright and angel-kissed to balance out the darkness. A light even Hell can’t distinguish since it was a gift and can’t be taken by the Higher Power.

“And none of us here is God, angel-girl,” Kase quips, enjoying this as much as I am as she calls Lucian out. So feisty. Hot. Red light glows in Kase’s irises, and I watch his tail sneak from behind him, knowing he plans to use it to touch her inconspicuously until he feels he must tie her up like earlier.

“Stop calling me that. It’s Raven, and whoever it is you think I am, I’m not them, okay?” she says, a new fight rising in her.

I step closer and lock my hand around Kase’s tail, twisting the smooth, tough black appendage around my knuckles. He grunts and grinds his teeth, shivering under the pressure of my hand, and not because I hurt him. He would never admit it, but the fucker loves it. His tail is as sensitive as his damn cock. I bet he already fantasizes about the broken soul playing with it.

Damn it. Now I am. I wish I had a tail now too.

I drop it, humming under my breath as I step closer to her, slowly drawing my eyes down her body, making her squirm. She’s not afraid of me—I’d sense it—but she doesn’t like how she can’t take her eyes away from me. She feels guilty for finding me attractive and can’t help rubbing her legs together like my gaze alone turns her on. I love it.

“How can you be so certain you aren’t who we’ve been looking for? I mean, look at you, Raven.” I trace my finger around the silhouette of her frame, savoring her name on my tongue. “You were dying when we found you. Unable to get to your feet. A sobbing and sputtering mess. Weak. Desperate. But now...mmm.” I flick my tongue at her, drawing her attention to my mouth as I split my tongue into a fork, slightly transforming, and move each side.

She closes her eyes like it’s the only thing she can do to stop staring. If I could listen to her thoughts, I bet she’d be thinking of everything I could possibly do to her with it. How I could rub her clit between it, letting her experience my piercing. She has no idea what kind of pleasure she can have, but she’ll learn soon enough. She’ll give in when she gets over her human rationale and morals.

Swallowing, she pulls herself together and meets my gaze. I flick my tongue again, slower this time so she can see how well I can work it. Blush burns across her cheeks and she crosses her legs and averts her eyes. I was right. I can read mortals fairly well, and this one is an open book. She’s curious.

“You did something to me,” she snaps, hugging her arms over her chest. “You’re still trying to do something to me. But it won’t work. My soul isn’t for sale, so don’t you expect anything from me just because you sort of saved me.”
