Roots of Vengeance(9)
Author: Maggie Cole

“I need you, baby,” he murmurs then intensifies his kisses. “Sex on my face.”

New butterflies take off. “What?”

“Sit on my face.” He rolls over and brings me on top of him. Patting his shoulder, he says, “Up here, Gia.”

My pussy is throbbing and skin on the verge of sweating. I position myself the way he wants me, quivering inside.

“Put your hands behind you and clasp them together.”

I do as he instructs. One arm wraps around me, and he grasps my wrists, holding them taut. His other hand splays across my back.

“You’re crazy beautiful,” he growls.

I’m already breathing harder, and when his tongue hits my clit, I whimper.

He groans. “You taste like perfection.”

A cyclone of adrenaline and endorphins spin recklessly, as Connor licks and sucks me. It’s leisurely at first, and a slow trail of pleasure detonates in my cells.

He holds my wrists, and I arch.

My sex smashes into his face.

His arm wraps entirely around me, holding me tighter to him.

As I soar into my high, he eats me out with ferocity, making me orgasm over and over.

I’m screaming his name, obscenities, and things I don’t even comprehend. Whiteness and darkness rotate in my eyes. My sex oscillates on his face, never seeming to stop and only getting more and more intense.

When I’m spent and can’t handle any more, he releases my hands, rubs his calloused palms on my thighs, and kisses my pussy.

I don’t move for a few moments. Leaning my forearms against the headboard, I try to catch my breath.

Connor’s sexy, arrogant smirk only makes me crave him more.

The moment I roll off him, he crushes his lips to mine, my orgasm fresh on his tongue.

I push his boxers down, and he lifts his hips then reaches into the drawer by the bed to get a condom.

“Put it on me, Gia,” he growls.

New butterflies take off.

I take it and roll it over his cock.

He groans. “Love your hands.”

“Connor,” I blurt out.

He strokes my cheek. “Yeah, baby.”

“I...I haven’t done this in a long time.”

“We don’t have to do this.”

“No. I want to.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay. Tell me to stop at any time, okay?”

I take a nervous breath and lift my head to kiss him.

His hands glide under my knees, and he pushes my legs up then holds my ankles near my butt. Dipping his head, he sucks on my nipple, then the other.

Tingles fill my stomach, and I shudder.

Connor kisses my inner knees then devours my mouth with so much fire, no one else on earth could possibly exist.

“Wrap your legs and arms around me, Gia. I want to feel all of you.”

My limbs squeeze him tight. His cock enters me, inch by inch, as I tremble, trying to take him all in.

“Relax, baby.” Connor brushes his lips on my nose as he stills.

I take a deep breath, my walls wrapping around his erection, pulsing against his girth. I’m so full. But he has more to give me. He begins to thrust slowly. I take more and more of him until he has nothing left to give.

His strong arms hold me. Muscles and flesh slide on top of me. Tongues, lips, and warm breath ravage me.

“Connor,” I cry out, buzzing from all of him, not wanting to ever let him go.

His eyes close momentarily. “You feel so good.”

I can’t tell if it’s his heart or mine beating harder.

He thrusts faster.

“Yes. Oh...yes...” I cry out.

His teeth graze my neck.

His tongue slithers around my ear.

His lips suck on my jaw.

I bury my face into his neck, unraveling, spiraling into oblivion. My cries echo.

He groans then his cock swells, stretching me further, driving deeper, and creating an orgasm so intense my toes curl.

Connor collapses on me, and, instead of letting go, I keep my nails dug into his shoulders, still trembling. When I finally come down from my aftermath, Connor kisses me sweetly.

And I’ve gone to a place I can’t return from—I’ve crossed the line and can’t undo my actions.

My rule was simple. Never sleep with a target. It’s now shattered.

There’s no denying I want him. If want were all I had to worry about, it wouldn’t be an issue.

But I don’t just want him. Deep down, I know I need him.

And that is worse than any line I could have crossed.

Connor

“Pick you up at eight?” I ask Gia.

“You don’t have to come all the way to Tampa to get me. I can meet you.”

“Absolutely not.”

“Really, Connor. It isn’t a big deal,” she insists.

“Are you trying to hide a boyfriend who lives with you?” I tease her but half wonder. When I first asked her to go out, she told me the same thing.

“No,” she quickly says, and her eyebrows furrow. “But it’s far—”

I put my finger over her lips. “Gia, I’m picking you up.”

She takes a deep breath and finally concedes. “Okay.”

Bending down, I press my lips to hers for one last kiss. “Sorry you had to wear your dirty clothes home.”

“I only had to do the walk of shame a few blocks.”

“Why did you park this far away from the restaurant?”

She scrunches her face, and I can’t decipher the meaning. She finally shrugs.

“Actually, how did you know which restaurant I worked at?”

There’s a brief pause. “You told me.”

“No, I didn’t.”

“Yes, you did.”

“When?”

“At the club.”

“I didn’t tell you I bartended until we were in the Uber.”

Her face scrunches. “Oh. Sorry. I was drinking. Must have been in the car, then.”

I never told her.

You must have, or she wouldn’t have found you.

You were drinking, too.

“I need to get on the road.” She pulls me down for one last, hot kiss.

I open her car door. “See you tonight.”

“Bye.”

I shut her door and wait for her to leave. On the way to the house, my phone rings and I answer, “Hey, Fisher.”

“Where did you disappear to last night?”

“Home.”

“I thought you were coming to my party when you got off your shift?”

I debate telling him. “Sorry. I was wiped out after the bar closed.”

“At ten?”

“Yep.”

“Wuss.”

“Don’t be a douchebag this early.”

“Hey, I just had my third Bloody Mary. It’s not too early.”

“Biting the hair on the dog?”

“You know it. Anyway, workout at two? I need to sweat this alcohol out of me.”

“Sure. I’ll meet you at the gym.”

“See you then.”

“Later.” I hang up and it doesn’t take long before I’m at the house. I go out to the deck and sit on the lounger Gia and I occupied the night before.
