Rebel Bitten(20)
Author: Lexi C. Foss

She screamed my name, her beautiful body mine to command in all ways. Rather than take more of her blood, I moved my mouth to hers and kissed the hell out of her while she cried from the insanity I’d forced upon her.

Her body spasmed violently, to the point where I suspected the pleasure had become painful. I held her through it, my lips praising hers every step of the way, until finally her emotions subsided and she began to relax against me.

I ran my fingers through her hair, not caring at all that I’d messed up her previously styled locks. Her dress would need to be fixed as well, or perhaps swapped for a new one.

When her breathing evened out, I pulled back a little to meet her drowsy gaze. “Show me your fingers, Willow.”

She swallowed, then slowly removed the hand from between her legs. Her skin glittered with evidence of her arousal, and I practically salivated for a taste.

Instead, I told her to lick herself clean, and I watched as she obeyed. Then I took her mouth in another kiss and groaned at the taste coating her tongue. It was perfect and everything I craved, but I wouldn’t allow myself a proper taste yet. Delayed gratification would give me something to look forward to later, after I finished playing my part of royal vampire in Silvano City.

Willow panted against me, her blue eyes shining with heated confusion.

Rather than explain myself, I indulged her in another kiss. However, this one was laced with a hint of blood from my tongue.

She jolted at the contact, her taste buds aware of that flavor, and her eyes flew open with a dozen questions. Again I didn’t explain myself, mostly because I couldn’t. I just knew she needed more of my essence as a protective coating should tonight’s events not go the way I intended.

Once I was satisfied that she’d imbibed enough, I pulled away from her and studied her flushed features. She appeared freshly fucked, just as I’d desired. Hmm, and while my blood would assist in her healing, she’d still have my bite engraved in her flesh long enough for others to know whom she belonged to.

Perfection.

“I think you’re ready now,” I informed her softly before kissing her again because I could. She returned my embrace, her movements lazy and sated.

Yes, I really did enjoy her in this state.

Maybe I’d keep her in it for the rest of the night. For fun.

My university experience had not prepared me for Ryder’s bite.

I’d expected harsh touches and savage fucking and to pass out from his violent thirst for my blood. Yet all he’d done was make me come.

Three. Times.

I took a course during my nineteenth year on how to fake pleasure through pain. Nothing about my reaction to Ryder had required that developed skill set. My screams were natural and loud and bordering on insane.

My limbs continued to shake even now as I sat beside him in the car on our way to the heart of the city. Part of it was a result of my building anxiety, but most of it was from the rapture that had exploded through my system from his antics on the plane.

He’d held me afterward, his lips whisper-soft against my ear as he praised me for how I reacted to his bite. Then he’d uttered sinful promises, telling me just how he intended to fuck me, the types of positions he preferred, and how he couldn’t wait to see my lips wrapped around his cock.

Each statement served as a warning of what was to come, preparing me to accept him mentally. Never once did he discuss sharing me, apart from claiming he wasn’t fond of sharing with others. It went against everything I’d been taught yet seemed appropriate for Ryder because his behavior never matched society standards.

I glanced up at him, taking in his stoic features. His focus was on the front window as he scanned the buildings around us.

Darkness blanketed the night sky, and there was only a handful of lights on the street to illuminate our way. As vampires possessed enhanced eyesight, they wouldn’t need much more than a few lamps here or there. Oddly, I found it to be adequate enough for me to see as well, something I attributed to drinking Ryder’s blood on the plane.

My thighs clenched at the thought, my mouth salivating for more. He’d turned me into an addict, his essence my new favorite cuisine.

He leaned into me and brushed his lips against my temple. “Ready for another orgasm already?” he asked softly, causing my cheeks to heat.

Damien grunted from the front passenger seat. “While I’m glad you tamed your pet, her scent is making my jaw ache.”

“Mmm, I’m rather fond of it,” Ryder murmured, his nose skimming my neck as he inhaled. My heart skipped a beat in response, my body reacting to his lips caressing my pulse point.

Part of me wanted to beg for another bite.

Part of me wanted to run.

It was an intoxicating mix of desire and fear, making it difficult for me to breathe.

I’d gone into that bedroom with the expectation of being used like a toy, but I should have known better. Ryder never did what I anticipated. He was the opposite of what my experience told me to expect.

If he kept this up, I might start to like him.

Which made him the most dangerous being I’d ever met.

His teeth skimmed my throat as he reached up to tug on the strap of my dress. It wasn’t the same one I’d worn on the plane but a sapphire gown with a similar translucent material that left me mostly on display.

Ryder drew the thin strap over my shoulder to my upper arm, his action revealing my breast to everyone in the car. I swallowed, uncertain of what he intended to do until he lowered his lips to my nipple and sucked it into his mouth.

I fought a groan, my lower abdomen clenching with raw need.

Fuck, this male was going to be the literal death of me. Something he drove home by sliding his sharp teeth into my skin just above my nipple.

This time I couldn’t hold back my moan, his bite a euphoric hit to my senses—one he took away only a second later, leaving me panting in need beside him.

A growl from the front seat had me meeting Damien’s hungry stare, his pupils blown wide at the display behind him. “You’ve made your point, Ryder.”

“Have I?” he asked, his tongue dabbing at the marks he’d left in my skin. “I’m not so sure.” He trailed his lips up to my throat, his fangs piercing my skin once more and driving me closer to the edge of ecstasy. Only, he pulled back before I could fall into oblivion.

“Your claim is clear,” Damien said, facing forward again.

“You sound disappointed,” Ryder replied softly, his minty breath warm against my cheek.

“It’s not going to be well received by the others.”

“You say that as though I should care,” Ryder drawled as he slid a hand through the slit of my dress to palm my upper thigh.

His opposite hand went to my strap to draw the fabric up to my shoulder once more. Then he drew his touch downward slowly to fix my neckline and traced his bite mark with his fingertips.

“Everyone will know you’re mine, Willow. To touch you without permission would be a grave offense, one worthy of death.” He grazed my collarbone with his thumb, then gripped my chin to pull my gaze to his. “You are to remain by my side all night unless I instruct you otherwise. Understand?”

“Yes.” My voice came out hoarse, his proximity and touch doing things to me I couldn’t seem to fight. He was supposed to use me. Drain me. Kill me. Not ignite my veins on fire like this.
