Lupine_ Trick or Treat(9)
Author: Hanleigh Bradley

“I’d like that,” she says eventually.

We have a lovely evening, eating pizza and watching movies with the children. Time goes quickly and before I know it, it’s time for the children to go to bed. Together with Jacqueline, I start to herd them out of the living room.

I pause in the doorway, turning to Rehan to ask if he can arrange for someone to drive Evanora home. He gives me a nod and then I’m heading up the stairs with the children. As always, the children don’t make bedtime easy.

“I’m too excited to go to bed, Piney!” Talas says.

I grin down at the beaver shifter and his siblings. None of them look particularly tired. From the looks on their faces, you’d never be able to guess that they’ve had such a dramatic day. Mine, on the other hand… A quick glance in a mirror tells me that I look exhausted.

I’m ready for my bed. With a groan, I realize that I’ll have to get up early in the morning to get everything ready since we didn’t do it today.

Kissing all the children on their foreheads, I wish them all a good night and then I head back downstairs, searching for my mates. I find them in the kitchen, busying themselves with the pumpkins.

“What are you guys doing?” I ask, biting back a yawn.

“Carving pumpkins,” Wren says with a grin as Enzo comes up to me, rubbing a hand down my back.

“Are you tired, love?” he asks.

Nodding my head, I rub my eyes.

“We can do this,” he tells me. “You can head to bed.”

I don’t want to go to bed without them, but I really don’t have the energy to stay up either. I hesitate as I consider my options.

“Can’t we do the decorations in the morning?” I ask. “I want you guys to come to bed too.”

“If we do it now, we can have it done within an hour,” Camden says as he brushes past me.

Even tired my body is hyper aware of him. I want them in my bed, but at the same time, what they’re offering is tempting too. If they do it now, I won’t have to get up early. Still, the idea of falling asleep alone has me plonking myself down at the table as I let out another yawn.

“Put me to work.”

I look ridiculous, but that’s okay. The children are happy and that’s really all that matters. Luna and I are wearing matching dresses, and I have to say it looks far better on her than it does me. Ariella and Larissa are wearing matching zombie costumes while Evangeline is dressed as a witch. Edmond, Kendall, and Talas are all vampires for the night.

Rathanael comes up to me with a grin. He’s so excited as he shows me his bag full of sweets. “Look how many I’ve been given!” The fake fur that lines his face is adorable; the small beaver child making a handsome werewolf.

“I’ve got more than you!” his little brother Farley says, using his pirate hook to hold up his own candy for inspection.

Ronnie and Remmy are walking next to Jacqueline, each clinging to her hand. They might be the cutest pair of skeletons I’ve ever seen. Lewis is pushing a stroller carrying baby Lucian and Artemus, who are both wearing pumpkin costumes.

Jerome is running in front of us with Nik.

“Not too fast, you two!” I call out after the two boys, worried that they might trip on their superhero cloaks.

My mates are the only ones not sporting costumes, but they look amazing nonetheless. They’ve dressed up for the occasion, each wearing a suit. When the children asked them what they were, they had replied that they were the mafia, each of my mates wearing perfect poker faces.

I’d struggled not to laugh as Rathanael had asked them if they had guns. Wren had pulled his jacket away to reveal a water gun, causing the children to scatter, screaming with joy.

Now, hours later, I feel like we’ve been trick or treating for forever and I really want to go home. My legs are tired and Luna is beginning to grow restless. I glance towards the children, hesitant to draw their fun to an end.

Camden notices the look on my face and takes my hand in his. “We can do one last street,” he says gently, “and you can take Luna home. I’m sure Artemus and Lucian are ready to head back too.”

My attention moves to the stroller that Lewis is pushing. Camden is right, both boys are asleep, and should be put to bed.

“I’ll go with Lewis and meet you all at home.”

“Yes,” Camden agrees, dropping a kiss to my cheek. “We’ll be right behind you.”

I’m not convinced. The children will no doubt try to convince my mates to let them do just one more street. That one more street will soon turn into two and so on. I know just how good the children are at getting their own way. Not that I really mind.

They deserve to have fun, even if it means I have to wait a little bit longer before I get some time alone with my mates.

Kink Between the Sheets

C limbing into my shower, I feel like my body is on fire. I’m impatient as I wait for my mates to get back. My fingers brush over my tingly skin as I rub shower gel all over me. I tell myself not to rush because there’s no way my mates will be able to hurry back. The children won’t be finished for at least another hour.

I’m itching to touch myself, anything to take the edge off. I feel a desperate need for my mates, and patience has never been one of my strengths. That said, I don’t want to start without them, so I keep my hands away from my pussy as I rinse the soap off my skin.

Wrapping myself in a towel, I make my way into my bedroom. I sit on the edge of my bed as I begin to dry myself. It’s strange that the orphanage is so quiet. It’s rare for me to be here without all the children. It’s sort of unsettling.

I climb between the covers after putting my towel into my laundry basket. Reaching over to the bedside table, I grab the book I’ve been trying to read. It’s not quite as insane as Love Blooms, but there’s still plenty of sex and instead of distracting me, it will most likely only make me feel even hotter.

As much as I want to get lost in the story, I clock watch as I listen out for the sound of the others returning. When they finally do, I practically fling the book away. I should go and help put the children to bed, but I can’t bring myself to leave the bed. It’s toasty warm, unlike the cold floor.

Bizarrely, when Wren tells the children to head to bed, they do what he says without argument. He doesn’t even have to remind them to clean their teeth. They just go about their usual routine without their usual complaints.

I listen from my bed, feeling slightly disgruntled. Why don’t they do that for me?

It doesn’t take long for my mates to join me. I wait eagerly as they let themselves into the room. As the door closes behind them, they’re already pulling their clothes off and I relish in the way each of them looks. They’re all so different, each one unique.

Camden is the first to reach for me, his lips moving against mine with a fire that matches the lust that is rushing through my veins. His fingers brush against my pussy, as the others watch from across the room. I’ve been waiting for this for what feels like hours, perhaps all day, ever since last night, and so I already feel so close to the edge.

My hips jerk at his touch, and I hiss out a restrained moan.

“I want to hear you,” Camden whispers in my ear as he thrusts two fingers into me. I hesitate, not wanting to wake up the children, but his touch feels heavenly and before long I’m practically meowing like a kitten at his ministrations.
