Neon Drops(15)
Author: M. Sinclair

“You okay?” I asked him as he squinted an eye open and nodded.

“Sorry, love,” he whispered as I shook my head and brushed his forehead with my lips.

“So, this is shitty timing,” Rhett pointed out, “but the camera crew is here. They just came through the gate.”

“Fuck,” I muttered. “Send them to the new house.”

“Really?” Dean growled, sounding like he was pouting.

“Baby,” I offered him a warm smile, “it’s better than here, and this entire place smells like sex, magic, and dangerous shit.”

“Fine,” he grunted and left the room.

Desmond squeezed my hand, and I brushed my lips across his gently before standing up. My entire body felt tingly with pleasure, and I rolled back my shoulders with a smile, walking towards what was left of my closet.

How convenient—now I wouldn’t have to clean it out.

“You’re a dick,” Adriel pointed out as I offered him a dry look, moving my attention back to Lorcan. You know, the fucking angelic being of ecstasy who I’d been drilling my cock into only an hour ago.

The woman I was supposed to act civil around, because of a stupid photo shoot, instead of the goddamn feral animal I felt like. Yeah. Her. This was some bullshit. I couldn’t explain how messed up I was over everything that had happened today.

I was disgusted and furious with that motherfucking principal. Concerned about how messed up she’d looked in school because of his intentions. In fucking heaven because I’d finally sank into her tight pussy and nearly passed out from the pressure of her squeezing me. Guilty because my demon had tried to make her dependent on us as much as possible by making her exhausted after we’d fucked every inch of her gorgeous body. Now annoyed, because why wasn’t I touching her?

“How the hell was I supposed to know that would happen?” I snarled quietly, feeling fairly short-tempered.

“Calm down buddy,” Adriel goaded with a smirk and leaned against the wall. “It’s nice to be the one not in trouble, though.”

“Fuck you,” I mumbled while running my hand through my hair.

“How did you not realize that would happen?” Adriel asked more seriously.

I nearly rolled my eyes. “Besides the fact that I’ve never had a soul contract out on someone? I’ve never fucking slept with anyone until Lorcan.”

Adriel looked sharply at me. “For real?”

“Yeah,” I nodded. “Demons are possessive as fuck, and once they find out who they want, that’s it. So Lorcan has been it for me since I met her that first day. Believe me, I tried to break that spell. All the attempts failed because the women weren’t her. Couldn’t even get fucking hard.”

Adriel hummed in understanding. “Yeah, I get that.”

I would have asked him to expand, but at that moment, Lorcan stood from her makeup chair. Her small frame was clothed in a black dress that was skin fucking tight, showing off her tiny waist through a cutout in the dress. Her blonde hair was thick and curly, falling down her back. When her eyes met mine from across the room, I let out a deep rumble, wanting so badly to take her back upstairs.

I had to admit, besides Lorcan, I’d never been very attracted to other women… so I had somewhat wondered if I was asexual or some shit. It seemed that wasn’t the issue at all. Nope, my fucking demon had just decided Lorcan’s tight body was the only acceptable one for us. It would explain why I had been walking around with a hard-on for the past few weeks. Something that totally fucked with my head at first, and still did.

… And now that I’d been inside her? Yeah, I had absolutely no idea how to handle this. I prided myself on keeping my control, but it seemed that willpower over my emotions didn’t apply when it came to my love.

“You guys ready?” Lorcan asked curiously, approaching us. Draven was sitting next to Dean, both of them watching us.

Despite nearly killing Draven, I actually was really thankful for him. My demon hated him, but he had pulled us apart and probably saved Lorcan from my demon’s bullshit. I was glad that he wasn’t pissed at me and that we had him around, because while Adriel could manage to knock me out, I knew Draven was more powerful than me. I was at peace with that—the bastard was three thousand years old.

“I don’t know how I feel about this dress,” Adriel scowled.

“I don’t like all these people in our new home,” I found myself muttering. You know, I think I was hanging out with Adriel too much, because I was becoming a cranky bastard just like him.

She looked at me curiously, moving her gaze back Adriel. “You guys are actually moving in? You said ‘new home.’”

“Of course we are fucking moving in,” Adriel growled. “Stop trying to get rid of us, princess.”

She smirked as I ran my fingers over her waist, causing her to relax into me. “We will have to visit our kingdoms for periods of time, but I like Arizona. It reminds me of when I first met you.”

Lorcan blushed as I ran my fingers over her jaw, wanting to kiss her but knowing if I did that I may end up fucking her in front of everyone. My lips pulled up slightly as my eyes tracked the green and blue sparkles that covered her tan skin, barely visible to the human eye. I loved it. I was really fucking glad to be able to touch her and talk to her now. Pulling her closer, I thought back to the night of that first party after being apart from her for so long.

This wasn’t a good idea. I knew it wasn’t.

Arizona’s climate seemed far hotter than before. Then again, I’d been gone for a year or two, so maybe I was just losing it. My sector of the Demonic realm had a far milder temperature than this, so my body felt uncomfortable… but I knew it wasn’t for that reason alone. No, this had to do with knowing I’d see her.

Maggie, the Reids’ sister, had told me almost immediately upon my arrival that they had already gone to a party across the compound. I’d nearly laughed at that, because not only had they forgotten I was coming to stay, caught up in Lorcan again, but they didn’t know that the reason I’d come here… was because Lorcan.

I’d been working comfortably in the Demonic realm when I’d gotten notice she was moving. Before I could warn Dean, I was calling any contacts I had close to her, and Hayden, her best friend and citizen of my kingdom, ended up being the perfect fit.

He’d given me all the information I needed in exchange for some stupid fucking drug he wanted to take. I could have demanded it from him anyway, but I’d much rather be on good terms with the person in Lorcan’s ear most of the time.

As I walked up their driveaway, I kept my eyes trained on the familiar cold and modern Louvre estate. It had never been my particular taste, but that was just my opinion. The minute I entered the room, everything inside of me froze, the signature of her magic floating throughout the space. I searched for her but didn’t see anything. Dean’s eyes met mine from across the room, and he walked towards me.
