Crowning Destiny(11)
Author: Amelia Hutchins

The Horde King was another matter altogether. He looked at me like he knew me carnally, which was insane. I was so much smarter than that. I had to be stuck in some crazy nightmare I hadn’t woken from yet. I’d never agree to marry someone as condescending or vile as the King of the Horde.

Ryder was infuriating with the smooth words that dripped off his tongue like honey. I also wouldn’t sleep with him because that thing in his pants wasn’t right. It was like a king-sized snake, and that sucker had slithered and moved when I’d sat on him…and I’d touched it!

I squinted at my image in the mirror, and then bumped my forehead against it, examining my eyes. My heart pounded, and my mouth opened and closed several times before I turned, screaming as I ran naked from the room. My face slammed into something hard and unmoving, and we landed on the floor in a mass of limbs together.

“What is wrong?” Ryder looked over my shoulder to find what had spooked me.

“My eyes!” I cried, shock moving through me at what I’d seen in my reflection.

“Your eyes are beautiful.” Ryder rolled me beneath him in a smooth, measured move, leaving me caged against the floor and his hard, muscular body on top of me. “And you’re very naked, my pretty pet.” He searched my horrified expression as sex dripped from his onyx gaze, a sinfully delicious smile curving against his generous mouth.

“I have fairy eyes,” I whispered through trembling lips.

“Yes, you do.” Slowly, he began lowering his lips in the direction of mine.

“What are you doing?” I gasped, noting that the appendage between his legs had grown, and was firmly sitting against my belly. “Oh, my word, is that your penis?”

“Penis?” His shoulders shook as he laughed.

“Yes, you know, the thing down there,” I uttered hoarsely as my body responded to his magic. “Turn it off right now! Don’t turn me mindless.” I shivered, uncertain what was happening to me.

Whatever was occurring, it was bad, really bad. The fae had immense magical abilities to turn you senseless with need, sucking your soul out while they made you think you wanted it. I tried rolling him, but it was like trying to move an entire tree still rooted in the ground. He was firmly planted on top of me, grinning and refusing to budge while watching me struggle beneath him.

“Why are you wet down there?” I asked, feeling dampness between my thighs, along with warmth on my belly.

“That’s your pussy, Synthia. If my cock were wet, you’d feel it all over your stomach.”

“It is not me who is wet,” I scoffed, trying to push him off me. He lifted, and I quickly grabbed on to his shoulders, pulling him back down, only to realize my mistake. My eyes rounded, and a frown tugged at my mouth.

“What’s the matter, Syn?” His grin told me that he knew exactly what the problem was, and he was enjoying the fact that I was uncomfortable. Asshole.

    “I’m naked,” I groaned.

“Very.” He smiled and attempted to lean back, but I pulled him down again until his chest was touching my breasts. He smiled again, rubbing his chest against mine.

“You’re naked,” I pointed out like an idiot.

“Again, very naked, but I fail to see that as a problem.” He wiggled some more, and I glared at him, which just made him grin wider.

“This is awkward. I don’t even like you, and now we’re naked together, and you’re a fucking fairy.”

“You’re a fucking fairy too.” I tried to wiggle out from under him, but I just ended up giving his giant snake better access to my lady bits. “Fucking hell,” he growled. “You fuck me like a possessed woman going to war for her sins, and little one, we were fucking born to sin together.”

“I don’t want to be a stupid fairy,” I whispered as tears filled my eyes.

“You never did, but you learned to accept it and embraced your destiny. You need to remember me, Synthia. Remember us.”

“But you’re old, and I love Adrian. I love him, and now I have to kill him.”

“No, you loved him. He chose to become what he is, and he is happy with his decision. You’re okay with it now too.”

“I don’t believe you.” I watched his sinful mouth, licking my lips a moment before his brushed against mine.

“Tell me you don’t remember the feel of me, woman,” he growled, claiming my mouth hungrily. His tongue delved past my lips, creating a strangled moan of need as his hips rocked against mine. The thick, velvety flesh pressed against me, just below my belly button.

I closed my eyes against the multitude of sensations his kiss created within me. I was unable to deny the taste, exoticness, the pleasure of his embrace, or the feel of him against me. Fucking fairy was turning me FIZ, and I was handing him an assist.

He didn’t kiss like Adrian. There wasn’t the uncertainty Adrian had. Ryder claimed my tongue with lethal precision, enticing and coaxing me into seduction. His hands held me there, trapped to do anything else other than take what he gave me. His hips adjusted, and I felt him against my opening, which caused everything inside of me to scream.

“No! No, please don’t,” I whispered through trembling lips. “Can we talk? I don’t even know you. I’m not the type of girl who jumps into bed with just anyone, and I don’t know anything about you yet.”

An aggravated growl rumbled through his chest, sending a chill down my spine. His forehead rested softly against mine, and his breathing slowed. Together, we struggled to calm the need rushing through us. Ryder’s head lifted, and he peered into my eyes, searching for something before he smiled tightly and groaned. The scent of sandalwood filled my senses, and I whimpered as he pushed against my flesh to lift himself.

“You know me,” he reminded softly, though I couldn’t recall any memories of him for the life of me. His kiss, though. Somehow, I knew I’d tasted it before. I knew it like I knew the back of my hand; it felt familiar. Even now, I craved to have it back against my mouth, kissing me senseless as he took the choice from me.

“Maybe, but I don’t remember you,” I admitted softly.

Intense desire built up in his beautiful depths as his eyes roved over my naked body. I blushed, and he sat back on his haunches, pulling me up with him as he got to his feet. Once there, Ryder pulled me flush against the heat his body released while his hands cradled my hips.
