BRADFORD BASTARD RECAP!
Okay … So those of you who aren’t immediately jumping straight into this book after reading the previous one have suggested a quick recap to help remember the few important things from the last book. I can’t promise that the moments I feel are important are the same things that you would have found important, but here it goes!
First up, Bradford Bastard started with the famous jockstrap, Tanner Morgan doing everything possible to irritate the living hell out of our girl, Brielle. Little did he know, she’s a fireball and was ready to meet him toe-to-toe. This bad bitch has one hell of a spine, and we love her for it!
Moving along, he tortures her with screwed up messages on her bedroom mirror, and she throws it right back at him. Skipping ahead, this twisted little game becomes addictive, and it scares our quarterback. He does what he can to push her away (letting Jules go down on him just to twist the knife in her back—though don’t stress, Jules doesn’t have that magic tongue!) but all it does is piss her off!
She discovers his love of racing and it has her clenching those thighs, and damn it, our boy noticed. He can’t keep away from her.
They indulge in this flirtation until he discovers the guy responsible for the brutal attack on his sister is her ex, Colby Jacobs. Self-control is pushed past its limits and personal boundaries are crossed.
Even after dumping Colby’s bitch ass, he can’t seem to accept she’s moved on. Colby wants a piece of that pie until he realizes Brielle knows his dirty little secret. The pie is off limits, but that doesn’t stop him from coming for her life instead.
After the shitty ex-best friend admits to having something to do with the attack on Addison, Colby wraps Brielle’s Honda around a tree, and Tanner comes to the rescue. She’s broken and battered, but she can handle it. Tanner can’t.
Addison is attacked in the hospital when someone pulls her breathing tubes from her throat, trying to end her life. Tanner sees red and loses his cool and goes for Colby’s throat. After failing to find him, he takes his anger out on the racetrack.
He’s driving recklessly and Brielle throws herself in front of the Mustang, forcing him to a stop. His emotions are out of control, and instead of leaning on her as he should, he focuses all that rage on our girl.
Her heart shatters and she gives him the best verbal bitch slap.
Wanting to put Tanner in her past, she holds her head high and returns to school after discovering her bitch mother married her rich boyfriend in Paris without saying a word. Tanner barges into class and feels like shit about everything he said. He wants to apologize, but she shuts him down.
Class starts, and just when she thinks she can face the day without breaking, two police officers step into the room. They beeline for our girl and shockingly arrest her for the rape and attempted murder of Addison.
Dun, dun, dunnnnnnnnnnn……..

Chapter 1
BRIELLE
Brielle Ashford, you’re under arrest for the brutal attack, rape, and attempted murder of Miss Addison Morgan.
The words circle my head as I pace through the small mirrored room. I don’t understand what’s happening. One minute I was sitting in class, determined to spend every minute ignoring Tanner, and the next thing I know, I’ve been arrested for the attack on his younger sister.
What the fuck is happening?
It’s been four hours, and no one has told me a damn thing. I’ve been left alone, waiting, scared, and panicked. No one has come for me, no one has even bothered to tell me what’s going on. Only one woman asked me if I required my lawyer, but I’m only eighteen. I don’t have a lawyer, especially not one Mom or I can afford.
This isn’t right. I’m innocent, and no matter how many times I scream it at the stupid two-way mirror, I fear my pleas are falling on deaf ears. They’ve already made up their minds. To them, the word guilty is already stamped across my forehead.
What the hell am I supposed to do?
This isn’t some ridiculous shoplifting charge or a slap on the wrist. A crime like this means prison time. This is life or death. This is my whole fucking world and it’s caving in before my very eyes, and I’m drowning in it. I don’t know how to save myself.
My hands push back through my hair as I pace the room for the millionth time, my heart racing with fear. I try to hold my tears at bay, try to swallow over the lump in my throat, but there’s no use. Until this bullshit gets sorted out, I won’t be able to calm down.
