Wanted by Mr. Evil(8)
Author: Sam Crescent

“There’s nothing you can help me with,” he said.

“You have a lot of enemies. I’ve got guards on the door. Something is going on.”

“Nothing is going on.”

“Ugh! Damn it, Evil. When are you going to wake up and realize that I know, okay? I know that you’re not a good guy. I know that not all of your businesses are legal. You think I don’t know about the drugs, or the fighting, or the whores? You think I don’t know about all the businesses you’ve got deals in?”

With each word she spoke, he grew tenser.

She licked her lips and placed both of her hands on her neck, trying to work out the tension. It was hard to do because she felt so raw. “I didn’t come from a great background. I didn’t graduate from high school. I’m not some innocent person you need to protect. I know what’s going on. I know that you’re… I don’t even know what to call it. A mafia person? A crime lord? Your name instilled fear into a lot of people who said it. Long before you and I ever met, I knew of you, Evil.” She pointed at her face. “This doesn’t happen to men who are one hundred percent good guys. I get it. Someone was trying to hurt you.”

Evil kept on staring at her without saying a word. She didn’t like the silence. It made her a little uneasy. Why wasn’t he talking?

“All I’m saying is that you can talk to me.”

Evil didn’t move. There was nothing but stillness and she waited, kind of scared to see what would happen next.

He took a step toward her, then another. She had to wonder if this was what made people so terrified. If so, then she needed to have her brain tested or something because all it was doing to her was making her highly aroused. What the fuck was wrong with her?

Evil walking toward her shouldn’t be arousing her.

This was insane. She was going fucking crazy.

Evil stopped in front of her. “My enemies know about you, Noelle. They know that you’re important to me. They know that I’ll go crazy if anything happens to you. Your life is in danger because of me, and I won’t have anything happen to you. Not again. I will protect you.”

“What kind of enemies?” she asked.

“For now, it is the mafia that I’m aware of. I’ve got people looking into just how much information they have on you. This was once the mafia’s turf, but I took it from them. It was easy—there was no strength here. Just a name that was whispered as if it should mean something. Trust me, it doesn’t. They’re going to try to weaken me. To take this city back, and I’m not going to let them, Noelle. I take care of what is mine, and you are mine.”

She wanted to hold him, to tell him that she was sorry, but she couldn’t bring herself to say the words. Instead, she looked at him, and Evil stared right back at her.

“That’s why you will have constant guards. It’s why you’re locked in here, under my protection. You will stay alive.” He turned away from her and left.

Noelle licked her lips. She had wanted the truth, and now that she had it, she smiled. He trusted her enough to tell her some of the truth.

What kind of weirdo was she?

Chapter Six

This was getting old.

The whiskey in his hand wasn’t helping to soothe his troubles. It was only creating them. He had to wait for one of his tech guys to get in touch. They were going through all the data right back to the beating. It wasn’t a lot, but it was amazing what kind of crap people did on the internet in such a short time. Lots of emails, texts, and calls.

Evil would find out exactly what happened and when.

He sipped at the whiskey and thought about Noelle. Anyone else, he’d have kicked out, if not killed. It would have been easy for him to do. He never allowed himself to get attached to anyone. Noelle was different. She had always been different.

He had to know everything about her. The files he had on her was that her mother was a drug addict, had died from an OD. Her father had been a drunk and had also died of an OD.

Noelle had found them. She had then gone off the grid for a while, only appearing to rent an apartment. The jobs she took had been small. He knew she hadn’t graduated from college. There was a lot on one person within one file.

Noelle’s hadn’t been extensive. It was like her life hadn’t seemed to matter to people.

She mattered to him.

He turned his head as he felt her enter his study. This was where he’d been and had even taken his dinner in here. He’d given her some time to cool off after hearing his very real threat.

“You look tired,” she said.

“You should go back to bed.”

“Go back to bed? I haven’t even been to bed.” She stepped into his office, moving until she stood right in front of him.

Another negligee. This one in a deep red. A seductive red.

Her long blonde curls fell around her face, and she looked so fucking stunning. His dick went instantly hard just from looking at her.

She folded her arms, but that was a distraction as all it did was push her tits up. He wanted to fuck her so hard. Instead, he sipped at his whiskey. He had dreamed of her coming into this room.

Noelle growled. She reached out and took his nearly empty glass, placing it on the glass table. Just as he knew she would, she used a coaster to put the glass down. Noelle took care of the little things. They meant a lot to her, and he watched her stare at him.

He’d pulled his shirt open, and the pants he wore were now creased.

Evil waited, curious.

She grabbed the edges of her negligee, and in one quick, easy movement, she pulled it over her head and tossed it to the floor. She didn’t have any underwear on.

Noelle put her hands on his thighs and then stroked up, moving in close. There was plenty of room for the two of them, and she sat, straddling his waist. Evil didn’t move his hands, keeping them on the arms of his chair, watching her, waiting.

“Is this what you’re going to do?” she asked. “Let slip a massive bombshell like that, and then disappear on me?”

“You have to know what you’re getting yourself into.”

“You think I would’ve allowed it to get this far without knowing? Do you think I’m that foolish?” she asked.

“Aren’t you?”

She smiled. “I think you’re foolish because you don’t know who you’re getting messed up with.” She slid her hand between them, and he felt her work open the fly of his pants. Nothing more.

Reaching inside, she pushed his boxers down and helped to ease out his cock. She sat back enough for him to watch as she played.

“You think I’m this nice, easy person, and you’re right, I am nice. I’m an easy person to get along with. But I know what the world is all about, Evil. My parents made sure I got to see the bad side of everything. My dad never stayed sober enough for me to see him as a good man. My mom was happy so long as she was shooting up whatever shit made her happy. I didn’t make them happy. In the beginning, they would be nice, of course, they were. They had that happy high, but that never lasted. Money soon dried up, and I was the problem.” She sank off his lap.

Noelle wrapped her fingers around his length, and he waited. Feeling her lips wrap around his dick was better than he’d imagined. He couldn’t close his eyes or look away. He didn’t want to.
