Bound to Deception(8)
Author: J.L. Beck

“Yes,” he whispers. “Take my cock like a good little girl, and I might give you a reward.”

His eyes are shiny, and I can tell he’s in the heaviest and hardest part of the drug now. In a moment, he’ll get sluggish, literally aching with the need to fuck anything that is moving.

“Ivan,” I whisper, trying to draw his attention, but he’s still focused on the dildo as he eases it gently in and out of me. I try to pry his hand loose enough to speak properly, but his grip is like iron. He could choke me out in a few seconds, and I’d be powerless to stop him.

For some reason, that makes me roll my hips up into the dildo, needing more of this. I need more of him.

The door bursts open in a crash, but he doesn’t even glance up. I look over and catch sight of the men who should have arrived sooner. Shit. They’re here because of me.

What have I done, condemning him to a fate I’ve lived with for years? For my freedom…

Dammit. I can’t do this. I open my mouth to warn Ivan, but one of the guards is already at his neck, a needle inserted, and the plunger depressed.

Ivan wavers on his feet, and I swear I caught hurt in his eyes before he closes them and sinks to the floor in a way too beautiful heap.

A guard throws my dress at me. “Get dressed. The boss will want to see you.”

I glare at him, sliding the shirt over my head. “Tell the boss he can go fuck himself. I’ve earned my freedom.”

A sharp sting in my neck, and the room goes dark before I get another word out.

IVAN

The darkness is absolute. I blink my eyes open, trying to latch onto any shape or light in the room, but there’s no use. Not even a sliver of light around a window or a door. I haven’t been inside a fully dark room since I was a child. Nightmares of monsters in the closet and under the bed were beaten out of me until the darkness became another kind of hiding place.

Memories filter back to me. Priscilla laid out so beautifully on my bed, her soft thighs spread wide just for me. No. That’s not true. She’d done it for whoever is pulling her strings. Her father, perhaps, which brings far more disturbing questions to mind.

A pounding starts in my head, so I lean against the cold wall, letting the chill sink in. It feels like brick, and they’ve got me secured with my arms up with maybe zip ties. I can’t see the material, but it doesn’t make much noise when I move and has barely any give.

It doesn’t matter, though. I’ll get out of here soon enough. Either on my own or when Kai and the others come for me. No one can stay out of touch and under the radar long enough that Kai couldn’t track them eventually.

A light flickers over the door, starting dim and growing brighter for a minute. Someone must be coming for a little chat. Perfect.

I scan the room, but there’s nothing in the small space. It looks like someone’s storage unit, but it’s empty save for one metal chair and a table a few feet in front of the door. Looks like someone doesn’t want to get too close to his visitors.

I keep looking around and spot a camera near the ceiling at the corner where the walls meet. It’s pointed directly at me, and a small red light is on the front. Oh yeah, someone is watching me. “Priscilla,” I call. “Are you in there, Malyshka? I’m going to kill you for this. I hope you know that. I don’t care how pretty your pussy is.”

There doesn’t seem to be any kind of speakers that I can see, so I don’t expect an answer.

“Or should I be calling out to Arthur Capri? I believe you’re running this show. Arrrrrrtttthhhhurrrrr…come play with me, Arthur. I promise you’ll see your own organs before you die slowly.”

One of the many problems with the Capri family is that they are so damn proud. Not a single one of them could let a taunt like that slide. Not without repercussions, and usually with the opponent incapacitated before they take their cheap shot.

My arms are numb. How long could I have been restrained here before I woke? I’m not hungry. Maybe a little thirsty, but that could be due to the drug combinations running through my system.

“Arthur,” I bark out. “Stop being a fucking asshole who sends a woman, a member of his family, to do his own dirty work and speak to me like a man.”

There we go. Nothing a Capri family member hates more than emasculation. I personally think it’s why they target so many children. They are vulnerable and can’t fight back.

I keep my eyes on the camera even if the angle makes my neck ache. “Priscilla, you in there, baby? You could come talk to me too. I’m sure your daddy could spare you a while to entertain his new guest.”

Taunt after taunt, and no one comes. Eventually, I lapse into silence as my throat grows drier and drier. I can always start again once someone comes in to engage. They obviously want something from me, or else I’d be dead already. Why take a prisoner when you can kill him instead?

I shift my legs on the concrete floor as my ass goes numb along with my arms. At least someone put some underwear on me before they dragged me into this shit hole. My own underwear, at that. Something tells me Priscilla had a hand in it. The men who removed me from my room likely wouldn’t have given a shit if I was bare-ass naked.

The light on the camera blinks a few times, and I keep my gaze pinned on it. Did Kai hack their systems already, or was someone finally going to come in and talk to me?

I glare at the lens, making sure the person on the other side can see I’ll rip them apart piece by piece when I get out of this box.

The door across from me creaks open slowly. It looks like heavy steel, even though I’m not at a great angle for the best view. A tall, willowy man, maybe in his fifties, enters the room and sits across from me. At least three feet are between my farthest stretch and his shiny black shoes, so there’s no use trying to attack him.

I eye his out-of-date, ill-fitting suit. “Arthur, I presume?”

He dips his head and gives my mostly naked body the same perusal. “Since we are going by first names already, I’ll call you Ivan.”

I swallow the bile climbing up the back of my throat and keep staring into his cold, dull eyes. “You can call me your murderer if that sounds better to you.”

“Cute. But we aren’t here to discuss my evisceration. I have a very specific task in mind for you.”

He’s doing the villain monologue thing, so I sit back and wait for him to describe his dastardly plans.

“You see, Ivan, you’ve been somewhat of a nuisance to me lately. On the one hand, you and your little friends are doing a wonderful job weeding the world of some of my less savory family members. On the other hand, you are interfering with my business. That is something I do not tolerate.”

The silence stretches, and I sigh. “Oh, you’re done. Cool. Is this the part where you threaten to kill me, or the part where you actually try to kill me? At least your other family member got close enough to make her attempt. Much much closer than you are right now. Are you afraid of me, Arthur?”

His eyes are cold and flat as he continues to look at me. “Does a horse need to fear an ant? No, Ivan, I have no fear of you or your kind. I’ll be rid of you all soon enough anyway.”

“Great, then do it already. What are you waiting for?”
