The Thrall (Seven Sins MC #3)(13)
Author: Jessica Gadziala

"The boss man," she repeated. "You mean, like, the devil."

"The devil. Lucifer. Satan. Call him what you like. He answers to them all. And he likes it when his henchmen get their work done."

"Why do you want to go back to hell?"

"Don't you want to go home after being gone for a long time?"

"I don't have a home," she admitted.

"Your childhood home then."

"God, no," she said. "I would die kicking and screaming first. You couldn't drag me back there."

"Why not? Shit parents?"

We liked our shit parents down in hell. You got to get real inventive with those fuckers. And no one gave a shit.

"Something like that."

"What'd they do to you?"

"That's not really something people who don't know each other ask."

"Pet, still got your taste on my tongue, think I can ask whatever I want."

From that, I got a choked laugh out of her. "I was raised by drug addicts who couldn't keep jobs or food in the cabinets or the lights on. I had duct tape on my shoes and clothes that were always one size too small or two sizes too big. There was nothing about that time I would ever want to go back to again."

"That's why you agreed to going with the bloodsuckers. To get away."

"I was barely more than a child. And anything sounded better than home."

"Was it ever something you enjoyed?"

"At the beginning. They lavish you with attention at first. Like there is no one in the world they would rather be around."

"Until the next shiny, new thing."

"Exactly. The longer you're around, the less likely you are to spend any time with your actual master. We become disposable. They hand us off to the ever-present guests."

"Until they don't want you either."

"Yeah," she agreed, nodding.

"How long do you think you had before they were done with you?" I asked, more annoyed than I should have been. I barely knew the woman, after all.

"I'm not sure. But I don't think we make it much further than thirty-five."

I knew about human frailty, the shortness of their lives. But it was a distant thing. Up close and personal, it was difficult to wrap my head around a life ending after just thirty-something years.

"Did you know that going in?"

"Yes. No. Honestly, I don't know. I definitely noticed there was no one old around. I should have realized that was strange. But I just... I wasn't thinking. I was desperate. They liked that."

"Fuckers," I said, shaking my head.

"I can blame myself as much as them, I guess," she admitted, shrugging as she pushed up to a seated position.

"How's the pain?"

"Numb. But not paralyzed by it," she told me.

"You think you can hang on while we ride?"

"Yeah."

"Alright. Let's get going. The further we can get as fast as possible is the goal."

"Will I know when the enthrallment snaps?" she asked, falling in step beside me on the way back to the bike.

"I don't know. I don't know if you feel it, or if the pain just stops. I guess we will see."

And once that enthrallment snapped, I was going to bury myself deep into her pussy, and fuck her until we both screamed.

Chapter Seven

Nova

I don't know what I expected from a biker clubhouse, but what I found was a long, low building that resembled the old VFW I used to pass by every day on my way home from school.

Bikes filled the side lot, and music could be heard thumping from the inside.

"What are they, oh..." I gasped as I climbed off the bike, feeling my legs give out.

If it weren't for Drex's quick reflexes, I would have gone down on my face right there in the parking lot.

"Yeah, not used to all that riding," he said, lifting me up, holding me against his chest.

The drugs had me numb, but I was sure my thighs and butt were screaming in pain.

"Got you a virgin there, Drex?" a huge wall of a man asked as he walked over from the front of the building, giving us a knowing smile. "Don't you worry, baby girl, it only hurts the first few times," he added, eyes dancing as he looked at me.

Whoever the biker was, he was big and fit with a ton of tattoos, jet black hair, and bright blue eyes. Much like Drex, he wore simple jeans, a white tee, and one of those leather vest things with patches all over them.

"Bat, good to see you," Drex greeted, holding me with one arm as he reached out with his other one to shake Bat's hand. "I appreciate you putting us up for the night."

"Hey, crashed at your place more than once. This man throws parties that never seem to end," he said, shaking his head. "God, that last one," Bat went on. "Remember those two chicks?" he asked, clearly enjoying the memory himself, judging by the wicked light in his eyes.

"Which ones?" Drex asked.

"The two who stripped naked in front of the fireplace and ate each other out. Then, as if that wasn't hot enough, one grabbed a hairbrush from her purse, and fucked the other chick with the handle of it."

"Yeah," Drex said, giving Bat a smirk. "I remember that one."

"Dunno where you find those kinds of women," Bat said, shaking his head before his gaze landed on me.

"Nah," Drex said, squeezing me a little tighter. "This one is different."

"Because she's yours?" Bat asked, and I felt like there was more to the question than what was said, but I didn't know these men or this world well enough to understand.

"Yeah. That's why," Drex agreed.

"Alright. Get it. She's pretty. Could use a couple big meals, though."

"Got any of those?" Drex asked, adjusting one of the straps of the backpack on his shoulder.

"Yeah, we were just firing up the grill. Come in, put your shit down, and join us," Bat offered, waving toward the building before turning and heading in, waiting for us to follow.

"Legs working yet, or do you need to be carried?"

"I think I'm good," I said, testing my legs.

"We'll go like this," he said, draping an arm around my lower back, taking a bit of my weight as we started walking.

The inside of the building wasn't much to remark on. A big TV. A makeshift bar. A pool and a beer pong table. There were a couple of fist holes in the wall that reminded me a bit too much of my childhood for comfort, but the people seemed decent enough as Drex greeted a few as Bat led us down into the basement where several old couches, a card table, and a spare bed were all set up.

"Can't guarantee people won't come down to play some poker, but if you can sleep through the noise, you've got everything you need. Can is through there," he said, pointing toward a door to the side of the space. "Settle in. Then come up for a drink. And some food," he said, casting a worried look at my body before heading off.

I mean, I knew I had gotten thin, maybe even frail, but I didn't think I was so small that I warranted such concerned looks.

"He likes his women chunky," Drex explained. "If you're not suffocating him with your thighs when you're riding his face, you're too thin for him," he told me as he moved to the bed, going through the bag, and producing my iron pills and the pumpkin seeds. "Come on. You know the drill," he said, waving at them as he dropped the bottle of water down too.
