Finders Keepers (Alex Drake, #4)(10)
Author: Lexxi James

She could feel him. The strong muscles of his thighs prying her legs wider. Ready to ram the whole of his shaft inside as soon as she gave in and uttered the tiny fib.

Ready, she held in a breath, licking her plump lower lip and letting the words he craved slip free. “You’re an asshole.”

Without mercy, Alex shoved himself deep into her, stretching her more than she could imagine. Days away from him had tightened her. After several thrusts, he slammed completely inside, forcing all of him deep within.

Again, he stopped.

“Please,” she begged. “I need—”

His kiss covered her mouth. “I know what you need. But I can’t reward a lie.”

Her lips pouted hard, and he nibbled them to a smile. She gasped as his dick glided in and out, gently working her soaking core.

“Now tell me something true,” he whispered.

Between desperate pants, she said, “I love you, Alex Drake.”

His thrusts built, working the fullness of his cock against her trembling inner walls. Releasing her hands, he rubbed her clit with his thumb, building on his unrelenting thrusts.

Her legs captured him, and his moans were long and lasting.

Alex pumped harder. Faster.

In seconds, her screams shot across the room as wave upon wave of ecstasy crashed upon them both. He filled her with all he had, erupting several times before collapsing on her shivering body.

“You’re the only woman I’ll ever love.”

Madison lay there, letting him slip the tie from her eyes. His soft kisses soothed her temples, making way to her ready lips.

“Our first public fight,” she said with a sigh.

He rolled to his back, pulling her body to his chest. “Mm-hmm.”

Holding her fingers to his lips, he brushed them softly between tender kisses.

Curious, she looked at him. “How did you know about the kiss?”

His chuckle was loud and sweet. “An anonymous informant told me.”

Like an up-and-coming New York Times reporter and my best friend.

“Sheila?”

“You got it. Anonymous Sheila. The covert camerawoman at your bachelorette party.”

“Can I see it?”

“Maybe. Have you watched my prime-time video yet?”

Embarrassed, Madison rolled her eyes. “Yes, and you’re right. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I’m not sure I would’ve believed it. Watching you remove your blazer to cover her naked body was . . .” At a loss for words, she finally said, “Chivalrous?”

He nodded at her quizzical confirmation of word selection.

“And I’m positive no one else will believe it either. Did you find out how she got in your room? Or who sent her?”

“Not from her, and I didn’t want to press the issue. She wasn’t an operative, just a pawn. But Richard worked his magic. We’re ready. Anyone who enters our suite will now be caught by our own candid cameras.”

Panicked and partially in disbelief, she shot him a glance. “Please tell me we didn’t have an audience."

With a laugh, he said, “No. Our little porno goes to my personal cloud. No one has access but you, me, and Paco. He’ll only look if he needs to. Or if the team sees that someone other than one of us has entered the suite. And we found the culprit who took those pictures. His hidden camera is now picking up the aquatic life of Marina Bay after a quick flush down the toilet.”

Comforted, Madison lifted her smiling lips, which were instantly met by the smother of his hot kiss.

“Speaking of kisses . . .” He pulled up his phone, flipping to Sheila’s text link. Sounding uneasy, he said, “Sheila called it ‘the kiss of the century,’ but said nothing else.” Giving Madison a wary look, he asked, “You want to tell me what I’m about to see?”

“Nope.” She giggled. “All I can say is it involves a hot, wet, steamy kiss with what I can only presume was the lead stripper of the evening.”

Exaggerating his irritation, Alex tossed the phone aside, as if to give up before getting started.

Grinning, she put it back in this hand. “Oh no you don’t. It’s your turn. I saw photos of you peeling off your blazer in the company of a nude beauty. The least you can do is handle one little kiss.”

Alex shook his head. “One little hot, wet, sexy kiss? Don’t be so sure.”

She held up the cell, giving him his own turn to click the video when he was ready. “And don’t be discouraged because he walked away with a thousand-dollar grand prize for giving yours truly the best lap dance.”

Blowing out a long huff, Alex hit play.

She could tell it was nothing like he’d anticipated. Something about his expression seemed almost like he was sorry he’d missed it.

In the video, Madison had just finished receiving an anything-but-innocent lap dance from “Officer Nightstick.” Promptly, he’d whisked her from the chair, forcing a wobbly Paco down in her place.

Speechless, Alex watched as one of his best friends got more hot-and-bothered attention than the bride-to-be. Paco seemed to be having the time of his life, a rarity for the man who'd slipped further and further into the monotony of adulting.

Before long, the enthusiastic dancer’s performance was over, ending in a scorching kiss that lasted longer than the dance. The crowd quieted until the kiss ended, with a roar of cheers and applause as the hired talent bowed his way to a hasty escape.

With the video over, Madison smiled at Alex.

He smiled back, stunned as he set down the phone. “Is there any way in hell Paco isn’t hot on this guy’s trail?”

Cuddling closer, Madison answered. “Well, apparently he’s a mystery man. Several dancers showed up—one more than was actually ordered. The agency that lined them up has no idea who the guy was. So, Paco’s paranoia is in high swing, and he’s even more determined to find the talented twerker. But he’s got almost nothing to go on, with the man disguised and in dark sunglasses.”

“Paco doesn’t recognize him?” Alex’s lips twitched. “Interesting.”

Jumping up, Madison straddled him, provoking an excited grin from her crotch captive. “Oh my God. You know who it is.”

“I absolutely do. Mark would too, if you showed him the footage.”

Excited, she squealed. “And? Who is he?”

“Nope,” Alex said. “I saw that kiss. Paco needs to figure this one out for himself.”

“But you can tell me.” Madison trailed seductive kisses down the muscles of Alex’s torso, ready to persuade him with all kinds of adamant lip service.

Cradling her cheek, he drew her gaze. “You can’t fool me, beautiful. Now I know what your lips look like when they lie.” His eyes lit with a playful shine.

Tenderly nuzzling into his palm, she planted a sweet kiss to it.

“If you do manage to tear this secret from me, and you’ve got a hard tug-of-war ahead, you’re sworn to secrecy. Agreed?”

Drawing out her response to emphasize her honesty, she said, “Agreed.”

Confident, she went to work, extracting his deep, dark secret with her persistence.

Alex watched intently as Zane MacIntyre smothered Madison with an extra-long embrace in the center of the hotel lobby. It wasn’t awkward. No, awkward was so two minutes ago. Madison tossed her hands wide with an I give up shrug followed by a giggle. Paco stepped forward to intervene, stopped by Alex’s casual wave.
