Cocky Billionaire(3)
Author: Sam Crescent

“I’m not going to tell you unless you agree.”

She’d been cursed to be curious by nature. She truly believed she was a cat in a previous life.

“Agree to be my girlfriend, and you’ll never have to clean again. I’ll make sure you want for nothing.”

“That easy? I just have to pretend to be your girlfriend?”

“It’s not like it’s hard. I’m quite a catch.”

She laughed. “Wow. And if I agree, you’ll tell me what you get out of it?”

“Yes.”

“No, I’m not going to do this. It’s insane.”

“I’ll give you whatever you want,” he said.

“There’s nothing you can give me.”

“Come on. I’m rich. You’re not. You clean my house.”

“Which is a highly respectable job!” She glared at him. “Okay, you want me to be your girlfriend. What’s my name?”

“What?” he asked.

She folded her arms as he continued to gape at her. “You heard me. I’ve been working for you for two years. I know a great deal about you from the little conversations we’ve had. What is my name?”

“That doesn’t matter.”

She laughed. “You don’t even know it, do you?”

“What exactly do I need to know about you besides you clean for me? I don’t need all the other details and specifics. You’re good at your job.”

She snorted. “You’re unbelievable.”

“Fine, what exactly do know about me?” This time, he raised his voice.

“You really want to know?”

“Yes.”

“Fine. You’re Caleb Turner. The only male heir of the Turner empire. Your company prides itself on being the complete fit for the family man and woman. There’s not an industry in the world that you’re not a part of. Media, cosmetics, pharmacy, all of it. Personally, to you? You like to party. You drink way too much and you sleep with a bunch of random women. You like your bed pressed and it has to be done a certain way because only you do it, even though you pay me to come in and clean. You also don’t like dust. You have spare dust cloths and polish spread throughout your apartment. I’m guessing it’s down to those pristine black surfaces that like to show when it’s not been cleaned. You love food, especially vegan food, but you like to keep that little tidbit of information to yourself. You go to restaurants, order stacks of vegetables so no one knows you don’t like eating animal products. The same goes for your wardrobe. None of it has any manmade fibers, and you also regularly invest in sanctuaries. Again, all information kept hidden. If you work out too much, you’ve got a limp on your left leg and it flares up. You refuse to take pain medication. How am I doing so far?” She took a deep breath and couldn’t believe she’d unleashed that much information.

“That’s… Interesting.”

“Yeah, I know all of that from cleaning your penthouse for two years and you can’t even remember my name. Do you even know what you say to me whenever you leave in one form or another?”

He opened his mouth, closed it.

“Don’t steal my shit. So, even if you want a girlfriend, I’d advise you find someone else who you’re not worrying about stealing stuff. Good day, Caleb.”

Chapter Two

“Lauren Wyatt. No, she has been amazing,” Caleb said to her manager. “I just felt so rotten. She has been working so hard for me for so long, you know, I just needed to make things right and know who this angel is. Thank you so much. Yes, have a good evening. Thank you. Bye.”

Caleb put down the phone.

He had Lauren’s name and the other little detail he hadn’t known, the company she worked for was in fact owned by his father’s. So all he had to do was to log in to the main files with his password, type in her name at the human resource department, and ta-da, he had his future girlfriend’s address.

Totally shitty thing to do, but he wasn’t going to hurt her, not in the least.

After closing everything down, he grabbed his jacket and keys and left his penthouse. Lauren was vital to his quick-thinking plan.

His father had no idea about his cleaner and if he did, he wouldn’t know she had the potential to be his girlfriend.

Sure, she was very different from the other women he’d dated and fucked. First, she had endless curves. A tiny waist, flared hips, and nice, big thighs. He’d noticed her thighs in the jeans she’d worn underneath her uniform today. Sometimes, he’d even caught sight of them when she was only wearing a dress uniform during the height of summer. She had nice, shapely legs.

Then of course he had to think about her tits. Large and with the way they moved, he had no doubt they were real. He’d been with his fair share of women including some who liked to go under the knife.

Climbing into his car, he typed in the address and left the parking lot for the second time that day.

“I know this is crazy but I need results.” There was no way he intended to call any of his exes. They all would expect a hell of a lot out of him, including an engagement ring and even more besides that.

With Lauren, he’d make sure she was kept in her place at all times. This would be purely professional.

He found her house and there was a parking space. Her building wasn’t rundown like he expected it to be. Locking his car, he headed toward the door to discover it was locked.

Checking the names at the side of the building, he saw Wyatt’s name. Clicking the buzzer. He waited.

And waited.

Impatient, he kept on clicking it until she finally appeared.

“Wow, who is it?” Lauren asked, sounding a little breathless.

“It’s me.”

“Me?”

“Caleb.”

“How did you even know where I live?”

“I have my resources. Let me up, we need to talk.”

“Are you serious right now?”

“I’m here, aren’t I?” His hands were open, a frown on his face as he snapped the question.

“Yeah, so?”

“Let me up or I’m going to do something completely crazy.”

“Go ahead it’s your reputation, not mine.” She huffed.

“Then how about this? If you don’t let me up, I’m going to phone every single press person I know and let them know that the love of my life is refusing to marry me, and she’s locked herself up in her little tower.”

“You wouldn’t dare!”

“I wouldn’t, would I?” He snorted. “You really don’t know what I would do to get what I want.”

“Ugh!”

The door buzzed and he smiled. “I’ll be right up.”

She had the cutest little growl. Climbing up the stairs, he hummed to himself, quite content in what he was doing.

The door was already open and she stood, once again, arms folded, looking really pissed off. “How did you know where I live?”

“It’s not like it’s a challenge to find out this kind of shit these days. Maybe you should look into who owns your company.” He winked at her. “Let’s talk in private.”

She shook her head but stepped back. “You know, this doesn’t make you very attractive.”
