“I wanted to come and meet you at the airport,” I tell her.
“Well, there was no need. Peter even gave me the door fob so I could let myself in. So, here I am. I’m so glad to see you both. It’s not often all three of us get together like this.”
Tessa’s right. My mother is often with either one of us, but never with us both together.
“Yes, this is cause for celebration,” I reply. “Let’s enjoy some family time together. Oh, and Sarah said for you to call her. She’s going with Kylie tomorrow to look at some wedding dresses and wants you and Tina to join them.”
“You didn’t tell me that, Adam,” Tina chirps up.
“Sorry, Mother, it’s not a message that was at the top of my to-do list. I only remembered as Tessa appeared. At least I didn’t forget it altogether.”
“You’re insufferable,” both my mother and Tessa say together.
“Well, that was spooky,” I respond. “You’re like the evil twins in my new movie.”
Tessa
“Ooo...you have evil twins in your new movie? Can I see the script?” I ask, already intrigued.
“Sure. Tina and I were going through it. Come and join us,” Adam invites me. “Has Peter seen to your luggage?”
“Yes, he’s such a darling. I always feel safe when Peter’s around. You’re so lucky to have such a great PA. He does everything for you.”
“Yeah, he’s a top man,” Adam says with a warm hint of fondness in his voice. “It’s easy to forget sometimes, that he was a friend of my father’s. He has loads of fond stories about him. They were good buddies back then, when Peter and my father did movie stunts together.”
“Now you mention it, I thought he looked kind of familiar,” Tina says out of the blue. “He’s changed a lot though. In those days, he was much more handsome. Oh! I know what it is...it’s his hair. He had hair in those days.”
“I don’t know about that, Tina.” Adam smiles. “He’s been bald all the time I’ve known him.”
“How long has he been with you?” Tina asks.
“Erm...I can’t believe you’re asking me that question, Tina. Only around fifteen years is all. Long enough for you to remember him whenever you visit me.” Adam turns to me as he speaks, “Tina actually thought he was new.”
“Oh, Tina.” I laugh. “How can you forget Peter? He’s been a stable part of your son’s life forever. We love Peter, he’s like a father to Adam.”
“What? How can you say that, Tessa?” Tina asks with a deep frown in her perfectly shaped brows.
“I agree with Tessa on this one, Tina,” Adam joins me. “Peter and I are close, even if you keep forgetting who he is.”
“But he’s...he’s...” Tina stutters to get the word out.
“What? Because he’s black and I’m white?” Adam asks. “Honestly, Tina, he knows more about my biological father than you do. They were best of buddies in the day. Even when I visited my dad back then, it was always Peter who took care of me. It seemed natural, on the day of dad’s funeral, that he came to work for me. Now, he’s a part of my family.”
“I stand reprimanded,” Tina says. “It seems I should get to know this man better.”
“Sure. Why don’t you have dinner with him tonight? That way Tessa and I can have some alone time together,” Adam says, glancing over at me with a wicked twinkle in his eyes.
I was somewhat surprised when Tina agreed. Adam messages Peter to check he’s okay with that but we both know he’ll be over the moon. He still has a soft spot for Tina, even though she can’t even remember who he is.
“He’ll like that, Tina,” I say to her. “He’s always asking after you with great fondness. Did you know he once had a crush on you?”
“Oh! In that case, if he’s going to dote on me I’d love to have dinner with him.” Tina smiles.
She’s not one to bother much with men these days. Having one that already likes her means she doesn’t have to work so hard at small talk.
Adam’s intervention means we’ll be alone for a while. That’s good because we have a lot of catching up to do.
The rest of the afternoon passes by quickly, as each of us plays a role in the script so Adam can get a feel for it. One of the evil twins is his nemesis and I was super keen on playing that role. I’m not sure of the entire plot yet. I’ve got a funny feeling the other evil twin will turn out to be his father, somewhere along the line. Although his role isn’t exactly human. Anyway, that’s quite a fitting tale for Adam, a long lost father. Though I don’t think that’s revealed until the third and final movie.
By the evening I need to freshen up as I find rehearsing a script quite tiring. I go off to shower while Adam takes Tina down to the hotel restaurant. He’ll leave her in Peter’s capable hands and then come back up here. As I’m showering, I imagine Peter charming Tina throughout their meal. He’s aged quite handsomely, and I’m sure Tina will be flattered with the attention. Plus, he’ll make a real effort to dress up for her, which will also impress her. I don’t doubt that he’ll have been a ladies man in his day, along with Adam’s father. Come to think of it, Adam’s a bit of a ladies’ man when I’m not around. It’s never bothered me in the past, but it does now.
Bah! I don’t want to think about that right now. I need to dash out of this shower and go light a few candles. I want to set a sexy scene for when Adam returns, so he can’t resist me.
Chapter 8
Adam
I arrive back up at the hotel suite to find soft romantic music playing, and the lights dimmed. Following a trail of Tessa’s clothing that she’s discarded on the floor I arrive in the bedroom to an array of flickering candles. Upon the big soft bed is a gorgeous naked woman, my woman, and I can barely hold myself back.
Tessa’s body is sprawled out on a soft white cover that’s a stark contrast to her dark skin. My eyes trace along her long shapely legs that she’s parted a little. I can’t help but notice her well-manicured dark triangle that forms a perfect V shape at the top of her legs. Imagining the delights hidden below that faint mass of hair, has an instant effect on my groin. An erection begins to press at my pants, straining to be free.
