The Billionaire's Seduction (The Billionaire's Temptation Book 1)(10)
Author: J. S. Cooper

It was furnished luxuriously but there were no personal touches like photographs or books to tell me anything else about the enigmatic CEO of Green & Hall’s Corp. I was staring at a painting on a wall when he swiveled his chair around. I almost fainted when I looked up and saw who it was. “Good to see you, Lewis.” Mr. Green, who looked just like Bradley, shook Lewis’s hand. And then he turned to me with a smirk. “And nice to see you again, Sarah.”

“Uh.” My face turned red and no words came out of my mouth. Lewis looked at me in confusion. “You’ve already met Mr. Green?”

“I, uh…” I continued staring at Mr. Green in shock and embarrassment. I felt like I was going to faint.

“We met yesterday, but I have a feeling she didn’t know who I was.” Mr. Green laughed and ushered us to sit down. I’m not sure what made me do it; maybe it was because I didn’t have enough sleep or maybe it was because I was still in shock, but I started walking around the room in circles.

“Sarah?” Both Mr. Green and Lewis looked at me in concern.

“Who ezzz dis Sarah you speak of?” I put on my best French accent and opened my eyes wide. I pretended to have a mini-seizure and spoke again. “I am Madame Bon Pain. I am seeking answers from my long-lost husband, Pierre Napoleon.” I bit my lip, mad that I hadn’t come up with more original names.

“What? Sarah?” Lewis looked at me like I was crazy and I suddenly realized just how stupid I must have looked, but I was determined to carry out my act of being possessed. Maybe if I distracted them by thinking I was absolutely mad, I could get out of this without being put through the wringer.

“Where is my Napoleon? He promised to bring me banana pudding from Magnolia’s.” As I spoke, I felt my stomach rumble, I was hungry and banana pudding sure sounded good.

“Sarah?” Lewis groaned, his face looking completely baffled as he turned to speak to Mr. Green. “Sir, I’m sorry. I don’t know what has come over her.”

“Leave, Lewis. I’ll deal with this.” Mr. Green’s voice sounded serious, but I could hear the laughter at the back of his throat.

“Yes, sir.” Lewis stood up and left the room and I stood there frozen.

“Sarah?”

“Yes?” I squeaked out in my regular voice forgetting that I was meant to be Madame Bon Pain.

“What the fuck are you doing?” He looked up at me and started laughing.

“Nothing.” I pouted. “I was possessed.”

“Possessed?” He raised an eyebrow at me again.

“Yeah, you know. Someone took over my body like in Ghost.”

“Ghost?”

“You know! The movie with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg.”

“Okay.” He frowned at me. “So you’re an executive here?”

I felt the panic rise up in me and I knew he was going to fire me. “You lied to me, Bradley!” I pointed a finger at him. “You didn’t tell me you were the CEO.”

“I didn’t want you to report me to Ben or should I say Harry.” He grinned.

“You are Harry,” I shouted.

“I know. It’s hilarious, isn’t it?” He couldn’t stop laughing. “Thanks for that. I haven’t had such a good laugh in a long time.”

“It’s not funny.” I am mortified at the lies that came out of my mouth the day before.

“Yes. It is.” He stood up and walked toward me and then bent down and kissed me.

“What, what are you doing?”

“I’m kissing you.”

“But you’re my boss.” I pulled away from him reluctantly. Though I was starting to feel hopeful. Maybe he wouldn’t fire me?

“I don’t think we have to worry about that for long.” He walked to the door and locked it and walked back to me. “You just left me this morning. No goodbye, no nothing.”

“I thought that’s how these things go?” I bit my lip worried. Don’t tell me he was going to fire me for not saying goodbye.

“What things?”

“One-night stands.”

“Is that what we had?”

“Yes.” I tried to ignore the feelings of desire building up in me. “I have to go and work now.”

He walked over to me and pulled me against to him, pushing his lips down on mine. I melted into him and reached my arms around his neck. He moaned as I kissed him back passionately and I felt him pulling my skirt up and squeezing my ass.

I pulled away from him and frowned. “Sorry, no more sex.”

“What?” His voice sounded surprised.

“I told you. What we had was a one-night stand. No more sex.”

“Are you playing some sort of game with me, Sarah?”

I frowned at him. “No. No. Of course not.”

He studied my face and sighed. “You’re an enigma, Sarah.”

“You could say that.”

“We need to talk.” He walked back to his chair and sat down. He looked at me pointedly as I stood there in front of him. “You can sit.”

I hesitated before walking to the chair. “I feel a spirit coming…” I started and he rolled his eyes.

“Sarah, please just sit down. Tell Madame Bon Bon that she can go home.”

“Madame Bon Pain.”

“What?” He sighed.

“Nothing.” I hurried to the chair. I didn’t think I should push my luck with my craziness.

“Sarah. I’m going to ask you a series of questions.”

“Okay.”

“Don’t lie.” He looked at me seriously. “If you know how to tell the truth, that is.”

“I don’t lie.” I protested half-heartedly. Even I knew that I was a huge liar.

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that.” He paused. “How old are you?”

“What?” I made a face at him, but he remained stoic. “Twenty-two.”

“I see.” He paused. “Have you graduated from college?”

“Yes.” I was annoyed.

“With an MBA from Harvard?” There went his eyebrows again.

“Um.” I bit my lip and looked down. “No.”

“What’s your degree in?”

“Drama.” I looked up and saw his lips twitching. “What’s so funny?”

“Nothing’s funny here, Sarah.” His tone was serious. “I should fire you right now.”

“Well, aren’t you going to?” I sighed and played with my hair.

“No.” He leaned forward. “I want you to be my secretary.”

“What?” I frowned at him. “I don’t want to be a secretary.”

“I want you to be my secretary that I fuck.” He grinned at me and I could feel my heart racing again. As I stared at his handsome face, I thought about his tongue inside of me the night before. What would it be like to come to work and sit on his face every day? I blushed at the thought. I never knew I could have such dirty thoughts before.

“I thought you didn’t fuck.” My voice rose. “I thought you made love.”

He laughed at me then. “Well, I’m pretty sure that I fucked you all of last night.” He winked at me. “And it seemed like you liked it.”
