Feels Like Flying (Feels Like Falling #2)(8)
Author: J. S. Cooper

“Let’s go,” I breathed. I squeezed his forearm and he pulled his fingers out of my panties.

“You’re so eager,” he said with a grin.

“Well, you know how it is.” I reached over and rubbed the front of his pants. He was already semi-hard and I could feel him growing beneath my fingers. “When you want to get laid, you just want to get laid, right?”

“Oh, but Rosie, I want to do so much more than just get laid,” he said in a gruff voice. And I gasped as he leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine. His teeth bit into my lower lip and he tugged on it gently. “I want to control you, Rosie,” he said. “I want to completely dominate you until you have absolutely no more secrets from me.”

My eyes widened as I looked at him. So he knew there was more, just as I did. We stared at each other for a few seconds, and before I knew what I was doing, my teeth bit down on his lower lip and I tugged too. His eyes narrowed as he stared at me.

“Two can play that game, Jackson,” I said softly. “Or should I call you Alexei?”

Chapter 4

I wish that I could say that I blew him off and told him that I didn’t want to go back to his apartment. I wish I could say that I walked out of that bar with my head held high without a backward glance because this shit was getting crazy. A smart woman would walk away—nay, run to a country halfway across the globe.

I’m smart, but obviously not that smart.

But let’s be real, he was the hottest, sexiest guy I’d ever seen in my life. And once I’d heard that he was the guy that had just beaten up my cheating scoundrel of an ex, I was horny as hell. I wanted him more than I’d ever wanted him before. And I’d wanted him really badly before.

“You ready?” He gave me a wink.

I think he could tell by the expression on my face that I was more than ready. You know that expression eager pets have when they see a treat in your hand? Well, that was my face. I was way too eager and I needed to rein myself in.

“What if I were to change my mind and say no?” I asked. “What if I decided I actually wanted to go home instead?”

“Then I’d walk you to your car, give you a kiss on the cheek, and wish you a good night.”

“Really? You would do that?” I was also incredulous and a bit pissed off. I didn’t want him to be okay with me saying no. I wanted him to tell me, You’re coming with me whether you say no or not. I know it was absolutely crazy, but I wanted him to go all caveman on me.

“I don’t play games, Rosie,” he said softly. “I think you should know that about me by now. I’m very clear about what I want, and I’m very clear about the fact that you have to want it too.”

“Really? That first night, how did you know I wanted it too?”

“Because you were the one that kissed me first and you came back with me to the hotel room.” He laughed. “Pretty obvious sign.”

“Well, that is true but ... “

“But nothing, Rosie. We can sit here and we can chat about crap or we can go back to my place and we can fuck like rabbits or you can try and sneak back to your house so your dad doesn’t know you’re gone.”

“Well, when you put it like that, I know which one I’ll choose.”

“Which one?”

“Well, I know my dad so—”

“Shut up,” he said, pressed his lips against mine. I melted against him as his fingers pushed their way into my hair and then pulled sharply.

I yelped as I pulled back. “Ow, that hurt!” I pouted at him.

“Did it?” He kissed the side of my lips and then my cheek. “I can make it hurt even more when we get back to my place.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I know you like it a little bit rough, Rosie.”

“I never said—”

“You don’t have to say,” he grinned. “I see the way you react when I spank you.” He licked his lips. “I have a feeling you’d like to do more than that as well.”

“What does that mean?”

“I have a feeling you like being dominated by someone like me.”

“Whatever,” I said, shaking my head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Do you really think I like it rough?”

I almost could have laughed when I asked that question because even you know the answer to that. I loved being dominated by him. I’m going to tell you something because maybe you’ve never been with a man, a real man with muscles, a real man who can please you like no other man in the world. But once you have, you can’t go back. You can’t go back to a weak-ass man who doesn’t know what to do in the bedroom.

There is a huge difference between a man who fucks you with the sole goal of getting himself off and a man who fucks you with the sole goal of having you experience pleasure in so many different ways that your mind feels like it’s going to burst out of your frigging head. And Jackson, he was one of those latter men. The way he touched me, the way he licked me, the way he kissed me—it was with one goal in mind: to give me as much pleasure as possible.

There are those who know that the greatest pleasure comes after a little pain. There is nothing so sweet, nothing so exquisite as the sensation of pain turning into pleasure. And I’m not a masochist. I’m not into BDSM or anything like that. I never even thought I’d be into pain in the bedroom. I’m not talking about crazy pain. I don’t want to be beaten with a belt or anything. I’m talking about that two seconds of, “Oh my gosh, what the fuck is happening? Am I going to cry?” that change into, “Oh my gosh, what the fuck is happening? This is the best experience of my life.”

If I haven’t made it clear, Jackson was the best sexual experience of my life. Honestly, I was willing to go down any road he wanted to take me down because I had a feeling that the secrets and the pleasures that he could give me were only just beginning.

It’s weird because many people think that only men love sex. They think only men are interested in experiencing all of the different possible sexual pleasures. But it’s not true. Women want the ecstasy of pleasure as well. I want the ecstasy of pleasure. Yeah, I wanted to get married and I wanted to have kids, and I was even willing to settle for someone like Joey, who frankly didn’t know a G-spot from a spot on the carpet. He never really made me come. I mean, I faked it and pretended well enough, and it felt okay, but I never screamed his name out in pleasure. Not like I did Jackson’s.

“Rosie, are we doing this or not?” Jackson interrupted my thoughts.

I stood up without answering him and walked away from the table. I didn’t look back. That’s the sign of a confident woman. And let me tell you, I’m not really that confident, but I know how to fake it. I walked through that bar and to the exit without looking back. My heart was racing. I was scared. What if he wasn’t following me? What if I was walking out trying to make a statement and I ended up looking like a fool? If I walked out of that door and he wasn’t right behind me, I knew I would die of embarrassment. But let’s be real, girls. If you’re with a man who wants you as badly as you want him, then he’ll follow you every single time. And if there’s a man that doesn’t follow you, then it’s time to ditch him.
