Love In Moments (Love Distilled #2)(6)
Author: Scarlett Cole

Olivia gasped; she couldn’t breathe. Nobody had ever touched her or spoken to her as Anders did. She felt as though she were going to spontaneously combust.

Anders pulled her to him, and she could feel his heavy weight through the light suit fabric. He bent his knees slightly and then ground up against her. “Mmm, like that,” he said, looking down between them.

He was still fully dressed in his dark suit while she was practically naked, but the power imbalance didn’t scare her—it turned her on. She was more than happy to let him continue to lead. Olivia pressed her thighs together, trying to bring some satisfaction of her own to the ache between her legs.

“Ah.” He traced his finger around her stomach, following the line from her navel to just below the seam of her underwear. “You feel it too?”

“God, yes I can feel it,” Olivia admitted.

Anders chuckled. His fingers lowered. “Tell me, sweet Olivia. Did you imagine me naked?”

He reached her already swollen clit and she jumped. “Yes,” she gasped.

“Yes to naked, or yes to my fingers?”

“Both.” With knees that felt about as much use as Jell-O, she leaned back against him, widening her stance as she slid a hand up his neck, reaching for his blond hair. Gently, she released his hair from the elastic that held it back.

“You’re so wet, let me feel more of you.”

Unashamed, she moved against his hand, groaning when he slid his finger deep inside her. “Anders,” she groaned.

As she moved, his erection ground slowly against her butt, his movements controlled and steady.

“I can’t wait to taste this. To lick every part of you. To make you come in my mouth and around my cock.”

She hadn’t felt this turned on in . . .hell, she’d never been this turned on. And, as a woman with an ex who had repeatedly told her that she was “hard to get off,” the news that she could get so close so quickly was new.

But as the thoughts hit her, she lost the feeling, lost the edge she was riding.

“What?” Anders said, suddenly.

“It’s nothing.” She tried to find where she was, trying to find her way back to the woman in the mirror about to ride out an orgasm, thanks to the man behind her.

Anders slid his fingers from her underwear and outrageously slipped them into his mouth. “This,” he said. “It’s honesty. Your body can’t lie about being turned on.” He turned her to face him. “Answer me honestly, älskling, where did you go?”

Her cheeks burned red and she could feel it, but for some reason, she felt the urge to be completely honest with Anders. If it all went south, she wouldn’t need to see him again anytime soon.

Embarrassment raged within her, but she had nothing to lose. She looked down at her shoes, but his erection obstructed her view, making her wish the ground would open up and swallow her whole. “I was right there with you, and then a voice from the past reminded me that I’m not the . . .I’m not the kind of . . .that I don’t . . .”

“Don’t what?”

“I don’t come easily. And I was so close, but . . .”

Anders stepped back and, for a moment, she thought he was going to tell her to forget the night and send her home, but then he reached for her chin and tipped her face to look straight at him.

“Keep your eyes on me.” He let go of her chin and removed his jacket. He threw it over the chair near the door, and then began to unbutton his shirt. “You know what defines a professional athlete? An Olympian?”

Olivia shook her head. “Being the best at the sport?” she offered weakly.

Anders shrugged. “Yes. But it is so much more than that. It requires massive reserves of physical stamina.” He pulled the shirt from his trousers and slipped his arms from the sleeves.

Holy-freaking-Christ-on-a-cracker. His body was Michelangelo-level perfection. Chiseled, muscular, a smattering of chest hair, and dear lord . . . his pants hung low on his waist. How could he even think they were on the same playing field? The orgasm she’d been close to disappeared completely.

She bit her lip as he reached for his belt and removed it in one swift move. “And on top of physical stamina, there is a mental toughness, a don’t-quit-no-matter-what-the-costs mentality. With those two, you can do anything.”

Anders unbuttoned his trousers, lowered the zipper, and then, after kicking off his shoes and socks, he let them and his underwear slide to the ground.

“Oh my gosh. Your leg,” she said, reaching for him. The bruise spread across his hip and thigh.

Anders gripped her hand, holding it away from him. “It’s fine, Olivia. It doesn’t hurt. You know what does, though?” His erection was hard and heavy, thick and long. “This.” He grasped it, and she felt the feelings of arousal begin to bubble to the surface again.

For a moment, he didn’t say another word, he just stood in front of her, lazily palming his cock. A slow back and forth motion. Then, he approached her like a wolf about to eat its prey. “Tonight, sweet Oliva, I’m going to use every ounce of physical stamina and mental toughness to do whatever it takes to make you come, and come often. I’m going to drive out of your mind the reckless words of a man who didn’t realize you were worth every effort, and that every orgasm you found at his hands was even more precious than if it had been given easily. You are a challenge that I am going to spend the rest of this night conquering.”

Some of his fellow male beings were fucking useless animals. Chasing their own ends without considering who they were with. While relationships weren’t even close to the top of his priority list, he’d always found that most of his own personal gratification came from the union of two bodies reaching the same goal rather than selfishly racing to the finish.

“Do you know what I see when I look at you?” He stepped closer, placing his palm on her cheek so he could run his thumb over her lush bottom lip.

Eyes looked up at him from beneath thick lashes. “Tell me,” she replied.

“I see a woman ripe to embrace her sexuality with the right person. A woman with hidden reserves of confidence who, if pushed, could utter the things she wants to do with a man, to do to a man, to have a man do to her.”

Her eyes went wide, pupils flaring. God, the things he was going to do to her tonight. He gently pressed his thumb into her mouth, and she sucked on it, rolling her tongue around it. His dick throbbed in appreciation, wishing for its turn in that warmth. But there would be time for that later.

“We barely know each other, Olivia . . .and after tonight, it’s unlikely that our paths will ever cross again. But will you trust me with every part of your body anyway?”

He wanted her consent more than he was willing to admit to himself.

Olivia reached for his hand and pulled his thumb from her mouth, all the while keeping her eyes on him. “Your words make me feel braver than I truly am,” she said softly. “So, yes, I trust you.”

A wash of relief flooded through him. “Good. Talk to me. You like something, you tell me. Something isn’t working, you tell me. You want to try something, you tell me. Got it?”

Olivia smiled shyly, a hint of pink touching her cheeks. “Got it.”

Anders took her hand and led her to the bed. He clicked on the small lamp on the side table, and then reached into his luggage for the condoms he always travelled with before throwing them on the bed.
